I thought u were suppose to go solo1 racing for a day to try it out. GAS to shannonville and back is probably easily 100 bucks for your crappy tune'd lag machine.
Gas to Mosport DDT June 18, or June 19 would only be maybe 15 bucks at most. Entrance fee is 130 for one day of event. It would cost you another 15 bucks to get home afterwards.
So total of 160 for one day + gas you use on the track (u will go through just under 1/2 tank in a stock car)
To get to shannonville will cost you probably 120 to 140 + gas you use at the drag strip and alternator belts and u will overheat your car like last time.
no offense but rx7s are not drag cars, they are circuit cars...

Ouch. Mega smacked by the Chen-man!
In Yeti Wah Cynobi's defence, we did tune his cruise maps much much better, since the last tuning left a lot to be desired in that regard.

and as Cheers said, RX-7s don't belong on the drag strip...and if that's true, NA RX-7s REALLY don't belong there, lol. so no drag strip for me, haha

he was pushing 21 at cayuga (i think) and without 1st and 2nd gear (tires will spin if WOT) he managed a best of 13.7 @112mph . only because he had to shift at 3rpm in the 1st two gears. i think he will have hes new tires on for shannonville tho, expecting low 11's...
