couple questions need answered please.
questions:
1) i have attached a picture, with one is the slave for an s4 tranny?
2) can an s5 tranny mount to an s4 block?
3) where is the sensor for the oil pressure gauge located?
4) can a rotary run for 20 minutes of spirited driving with no oil pressure?
explainations:
1) i have A in my car and was told that is an s5 tranny.
2) sooo, if it does not, the keg be an s5 and the externals be s4 i guess, because i have a s4 turbo/mani, ecu, etc. or i have it backwards and a IS an s4 slave.
3) stays flat on the dash, im guessin i disconnected it when i dropped the tranny.
4) for safe measure, just want to be sure i dont have a severe prob.

ya oil pressure sensor is under the oil filter. Its a rather large unit (that always seems to leak for me). BTW its metric threaded so aftermarket units dont fit. Well, they do, just crossthreaded and permanently. The coolant temp sensor is also located below the oil pressure sensor.
Ask gary what happens when you have no oil pressure. He witnessed me finding an oil leak the hard way.
