Question Ceramic Hi-Temp Coating... Where did the posts go?!?!

Try searching "ceramic", "temp", "high", "coating", "coatings" and you get one return from a post that is of no help from last week. Where did at least our recent history of posts go? How did they change the search function?

I was looking for the post that noted two possible options including one with a drop-off point. I have 5-6 pieces that need to be 1500+ degrees safe.

Thanks! Anyone else?

Because I don't quite understand how COATING my friggin' new performance headers for the SVT costs more than the headers themselves! Daylight robbery! I should have gone with the ceramic coating option from the manufacturer for $75 USD more. Canada is a giant rip off.

If you want to paint it yourself, POR-15 sells several coatings that are good to high temps. The black and silver handles 1500, and the aluminum (which I used on my exhaust) is good to 2000 degrees.

Anyone have any new experiences with ceramic coatings? Closer to Hamilton, preferably.

I got my car's exhaust manifold ceramic coated.

Best 250$ ive spent on the car i think

I highly recommend Swaintech coatings. Its very thick, and durable.

I can now quickly touch the heatshield on my car which has warnings in Three languages to NOT touch it lol

They are located in newyork though. So Duty is what kills it, especially since they only ship via UPS

Ceramic Coating

I got my exhaust manifold done at Fireball Coatings. Paid $150. I'm happy with it.
