So far so good... wasn't aware you had a shop.

This is going to be an impatient winter! Hopefully next season I can for sure meet up with some guys... I'll be more persistent next time!

On a sidenote I saw a prestine black turbo parked in the spectators parking, it was in great condition!

I was there from 8:45am after getting NO sleep the night before. Spent all Friday day and night setting up two of the cars in the drift event (the purple AE86 driven by Jover, and the red AE86 driven by George), then went home to a party at my place at 2am, then left for Neetronics at 5am and convoyed from there around 7.

The event was awesome. Great turnout! Sooo many cars. The drag track was pretty packed, it looked like a good hour or so wait to run the cars each time! Crazy.

I saw a bunch of Rx7s out there. Quite a few FDs and 2 FCs running drag. I ran my car in the lapping sessions. I was the red S5 FC if anyone saw me.

Met up with Joe and Bill and a couple of the guys. Was good to see you guys!

Yeah, it's bad enough waiting for spring never mind waiting for the car to be done as well. I know how it feels even though I do my own work. Still takes time. I'll probably organize a meet in the spring, we'll see. One way or another we'll get together some time. I plan on spending a lot of time at the track next season.

I've had to wait a day before replying to this...Take it for what it is, annoyed scarcasm.

Everyone says Cayuga, but they are referring to Toronto Motorsports Park?! Of course, how stupid of me not to know! I mean, it's not like there is an actual track called Cayuga Speedway or something where any reasonable person would drive to if a meet was said to take place at Cayuga.

If I may offer my humble opinion, if people mean Toronto Motorsports Park, say Toronto Motorsports Park. This will save people like me from wasting an entire Saturday afternoon driving to Cayuga, finding no one, then driving home when everyone is actually at a track with a completely different name 5 minutes away. Ontario is a big province and there is more to life then the area East of Kitchener. Those of us who live on the other side might not be aware that Toronto Motorsports Park is referred to as Cayuga and when are told that everyone is going to Cayuga, will drive to Cayuga.

I think from now on I'm going to mean St. Thomas Dragway when I refer to Mosport, Shannonville Raceway when I talk about Grand Bend, and the McDonalds on the corner of Wellington and Baseline in London when I mention Deleware Speedway....

lol, sorry aaron! For me I've just never adapted to calling it Toronto, it'll always be cayuga dragway to me...that sucks!! anyways...

It was a lot of waiting, too many crashes and foul ups, but very busy and lots to see...

I had a good time and Im hoping they'll have more big events like that next year..

Yeah, I'd be pissed too. I pulled into the wrong track as well. Couldn't figure out why it was deserted. So I kept driving for a bit. Luckily I found it.I find it strange that everyone calls it cayuga as well. I had no idea that it was called TMP until sat. Sorry about that.

to clear things up:

Cayuga Speedway:
- Located just east of hwy. 3 on Indian Line (Indian line is also called Haldimand Road 20, and King st. when it enters Hagersville) This location is known as my home - Nelles Corners.

- Oval track and camping grounds, typically home of Cascar races which happen next to never...although with Nascar buying Cascar, there's been alot of money injected into the grounds - so next year might see more action.

Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga Dragway):
- Located on Kohler Road Between Indian Line and Hwy 3. If coming from Hwy 3, there are signs on Kohler Road for the dragway, coming from east or west.

- 1/4 mile and road course. busy all summer long....best time to come if you are looking for lots of passes is wednesday nights, its test and tune all night and typically, not that busy.

Here are some pics from Cayuga. It looks like I got so excited, I peed my pants in my one pic.

Plus if no one has seen Joe from RPM, now is your chance. Haha.

Oh AND if anyone recognizes themselves in the last picture, let me know hahaha. Say no to crack!

Yeah....whats with that? LOL

Not sure if you guys saw Jeffrey Kan's blue FD with the twin turbo 20B run or not....but near the end of the day he managed to run a 9.76 in full street trim. I'm not 100% sure, but I was told that its now the fastest street legal sport compact in Canada.

Meh, such is life. I just wish I had spent the day wrapping my wiring harness instead of driving back and forth from Cayuga. I'll try to see everyone next time, at Toronto Motorsports Park...

BAH I missed that run, I knew he had a sub 10 sec. pass in it though after watching him run a 13 something at 130mph hahaha

I know that car very well, you call that full street trim........ nice try! I call that car all out race without cutting any of the stock body, as well as a Lexan hatch. My car is full street trim, full interior and a stereo.

I never took a close look at it, but it definitely looked sharp. And like a drag car. What do they call legal anyway? Mine's not even legal to the letter of the law. (not that a lot of daily's are either I guess)
