I probably won't bring my car as there is a total of 1.7KMs on the engine right now and I'm not sure it's reliable enough to drive on the highway...

That's a shame, I'd really like to see your car.

Also looks like I probably won't have insurance by tomorrow...long story of stupid stuff...

Honestly I wouldn't bring it because it would seriously suck being stuck somewhere on highway 3 due to some minor problem.

Yeah, I hear ya about the being stuck part. If I break something it's gonna be a long haul home. Not to mention I'm thinking about turning the boost up.lol.

I forgot to mention to all those that were concerned about the afr. My aem uego reads about .5 or a little more, richer than the dyno did. You guy's think it's cause I'm running a cat? I don't even see 12's at all on the aem.

The cat would certainly effect the dyno reading. I would trust the wideband placed before the cat instead of the dyno.

That's what I figured just glad to hear a second opinion. Paul never asked and I never thought to mention that I had a cat. Thanks.

Well I had alot of fun today. Saw rx7's of all generations. Saw some guys looking under the hood of a green/black FC, tried to introduce myslef but they seemed kind of busy at the moment discussing it.

Saw some nice drag racing, some descent drifters (mostly 240's and ae86's). All in all had a great time. I can't wait until april for the season to start again....

You should have been persistent. Sorry about that, I really would have like to meet more members. I had a lot of people asking questions. That, and it got pretty annoying waiting in line for 4hrs to make a pass. I only managed 2 passes the whole day! Drove 2 friggin hrs for that? Oh well, at least my 2nd pass was decent. I ran a 13.953@97.86mph. Apparently the tires I borrowed still weren't enough. I'm amazed how much wheel hop I managed with a solid mounted dif.LOL. Thought the rear end was going to pass me.Brent

No worries, I still took a prolongued peak and enjoy what was under the hood while it was open.

The last car event I went to I was only able to see one rx7..3rd gen... but when I got up close I was disheartened to see a V8 swap... SO this was a treat.

Glad you liked what you saw. There were quite a few 7's there, it was nice to see them all. Still wish we would have met. I'm sure I'll be at the track a lot more anyway so hopefully I'll see you there some time.

OK, so when was everyone there? I arrived shortly after 3PM, saw no-one, then had to turn around and drive the 2 hours back home...

i saw a LOT of FC's and FB's either at the track or around cayuga (a couple of FB's that looked like they were just sitting around for years...i was tempted to go ask the people in the house if i could take it off their hands )

I was at the road course in an RX-8 and saw a bunch of FC's..glad to see the rotary is still well represented..did any of you guys run the road course or just the drag?

The track was deserted! Not a soul around when I arrived at 3PM. Gates were closed, the place was silent...

This is Cayuga on Indian Line we're talking about, right?

um..yeah i guess.the one with the racetracks and stuff.
i left at 2Pm because the track turned evil after that. my friend's nsx blew a rad hose.my other budy stuck aroun after having to bleed his brakes in the most ghetto of ways..an STi shredded his tires and my friend's S13 blew his diff and dumped even more fluid but the worst were all the rustbucket cars were dropping debris on the track.

**** they should ban unsafe cars..not louds cars..jeez.

i'd imagine a lot of people left around the same time i did...beause they blackflagged everyone to clean up the mess.

What the hell are you talking about?
no car dropped debris.
the only issue i saw was the nsx rad hose and sasha's diff blow in the s14, which was cleaned up asap.
aside from having too many cars on the track it was well run.
you cant call the cars unsafe because you cant expect this **** to happen.

it was unsafe drivers that were pissing me off.
not letting me pass them.
the blue audi TT went off and then jumped back onto the track 10 feet infront of me while i was under full throttle.

I did see rpm, classis auto and prodigy out, they all better show at my track day next week too!!!!

^ fair point well made. i didn't sick around after sasha's incident so i can only relay 2nd hand info on what i heard.

in any case, the CSCS events are always pretty well run and i'll be back out next year

was the blue audi fast? there were a couple of other highends there too...a red M3 (not sure if he went out or not) and a black porsche (pretty quick out there but gave me the pass signal eventually...displayed the classic trait of vintage porsche: tail happy to the max lol)

I arrived at the track at 11am and stayed til 6pm. I was in the 10th lane line up for 4hrs then 2hrs. That's probably why you didn't see me. Aaron, that screwed me up too. Everyone says Cayuga but there referring to the Toronto Motorsports Park. It's on Koehler rd, about 5min from Cayuga Speedway. That really sucks that you turned back. There were a lot of delays, at least on the 1/4m. A mustang hit the wall off the line along with at least 8 or more other delays. Like I said I only got in 2 passes in 7hrs. I should have gone in the bracket racing. I met up with RPM,Classic Auto, Nigel 20b and a couple others, it was hard to keep track cause I spoke to alot of people. Don't get me wrong I still had a good time, just would have been nice to make more runs and get a good time. Oh well, that's just how it goes and I was happy to make it home without breaking anything.
