R1 was more stripped out. No sun roof, seats were cloth instead of leather, no fancy Bose system etc.

Seats were suede (not cloth that is in the base models). Strut bar was another R1 addition. R1 was priced below touring I believe. CYM was available in R1 only in US but in Canada you can get it in other trims.

I think you guys are under valuing your cars. We already own them and know what they bring to those in "the know".
But I'm thinking to someone who wants one these beauts real bad will pay more to get a hard to get a hold of car. Of course you guys are saying to me well it's only worth as much as someone's willing to pay.
Do you think they peeked in value after that first Fast and Furious movie. I know all the teens and early 20's kids were freaking out at my car for several years after that movie. I had everyone asking if it's for sale (dreaming most likely ) My early twenties son says it's " the" iconic car of his generation. Now if only these kids had some money!
But the power of a good movie with a cool car in it is pretty much all some dues need to obsess.
How any Mustangs did the Steve McQueen classic "Bullit" sell?
TONS of Wild Mustang's broke out of the Ford ranch that year.
