Calgary 7's Come out to Secret Street

I have seen some beautiful FB's and FC's this year, but all but a couple dissapoint me by going off to run teh 1/4 mile exclusively.

I am the guy that runs the Autocross course on the 1/2 mile Oval, and would love to see more Rx's out there to show up all the Skylines that have been appearing lately.

heh

don't ask

it's got a carb/ignition/compression issue i haven't had time to sit down and diagnose, so i've been drivingin it as little as possible as i keep my eye out for a nicer shell.

though i really woudl like to pour the cash into this one just to keep that GX badge

hey spencer.
i was having fun for a while but it's hard to keep intrest when the car plows through every corner. working on getting some coilovers and i'll be there a lot more.
also more and more people are showing up for auto X so the line up is startign to take longer then the line for 1/4mile.

I tried it, but it wasn't for me. The line up was brutal too, waited forever for one dissatisfying run.

Apparently they have a drive in movie theater at race city now. From what I understand, its the worlds largets inflatable screen.

I know nothing beyond that other than they will show 2 movies, one new, one old on friday nights.

I was just looking at the Race City web site and wondering if anyone heads down to the auto cross. I've never been down to see it and never tried it before but it might be fun.

This week is no good since I'm working though. If the line is getting too long maybe they will add another night in the week.

I'd do autocross if my motor made any power. Without the supercharger, its like a 9HP Go-Kart at Kart World. And its #$(*&@ loud.
