Bruce County Meet 2009 - July 17, 18, 19
Bruce County Meet: July 17, 18, 19 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday
I should have posted this a loooooonnnnng time ago. Life's been too busy, and I haven't been on here much. I hope people can make it.
I'll be hosting it at my place again. I've got a large BBQ, large fridge, and a large house with AC!
For those who have been on the BCM cruise before, you know that we have some of the nicest routes around with spectacular views from atop of Blue Mountain ski resorts and the coastal beaches with plenty of twisty, smooth low traffic roads along the way.
This year we will be having lunch en route at the Rusty Gull north of Owen Sound. It has a spectacular view of the harbour and is a favourite restaurant for many boaters and tourists in the area.
Check out the "links" below for past pics and posters. I'm right in the middle of marking and preparing exams, so there's no time to design and post anything like that. So instead, post here or PM me with any questions etc... I'll try to post a menu for the Rusty Gull, but I'm not going to bother with setting up a BCM email to preorder. I'll go with a reservation instead and rely on people ordering that day.

Sweet, give me a shout on the cell. We'll have a mini BCM tonight. Oh, I booked the week 2nd week of July off and I'm devoting it to putting the RX-4 together. I'm gonna give it all I've got and get it done for the cruise.

The tuning was only at idle, but I am pretty sure I'll add 5% across the board to make up for the exhaust. The e-fan is awesome, I think I need a little fuel when it kicks on, kind of lumpy idle, and it sometimes takes some cranking to get input from the CAS...

Indeed! I can live with that. It's funny though how people complain that no one does any kind of meets or cruises anymore, but when you do put one together no one signs up.

Yeah...I did post it rather late though. It would be nice though if people actually posted their regrets just to show that I should even bother offering up a cruise for next year. It does take time, effort and cash to arrange to have the house without family for the entire weekend and to check out all of the routes that we'll be taking in addition to preparing my car. Oh well, everyone's busy.

It's traditionally on the Saturday. Friday is for people arriving after work, partying etc.. Saturday is the cruise with lunch en route and BBQ back at my place. Sunday is for recovery, mini-cruise, beach time etc... It's flexible actually. I'm up for a cruise on each day if that's what people want. It'd be nice to have you on the actual cruise rather than just meeting my neighbours and drinking on my front porch this time.

As the new bitch I say we should probably get at that sooner rather than later. I'm gonna be pretty busy getting that RX-4 together and running once July hits. I'm going to be pulling the engine from my parts car this week and starting to build the engine.

I might be able to come. I would like to see all the other rotary members. Of course that depends on if I can get away from my old lady and if my car will be completed by then. Here's hoping!
Btw I have an rhd FD if that matters LOL.

Anything is welcome, even if it isn't rotary powered. You just have to be a rotorhead at heart. You won't regret comming along for the ride. I've been looking forward to this cruise since the cruise ended last year.
