BDC tuning session
#201
Got a new fuel filter on, will be getting fresh FC plugs (BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ) shortly, oil in the tranny, and rear end is brand new Amsoil, new oil in the engine, flushed the radiator and put some new coolant in there, hope to get my injectors flow tested and cleaned, should also be getting new spark plug wires, and lastly will be getting some new rotors. And then I should be set

Hmmm If possible, I may want to switch my day to Sunday... As it looks right now I might be working afternoons 4pm to 2 am on the Sat and double time is pretty damn hard to pass up. Tentitively if someone on Sunday wants to switch that would be cool.

Welp, please let me know if there's anything I can do to help w/ Jim.
Anyone else that's part of the tuning session need any base maps other than Joe? Any questions regarding how anything is running or not running? Pop me an IM over on AIM or Yahoo or an email if you'd like.

Right now our biggest issue is getting a laptop that allows us to interface with the ECU. The software is loaded on Jims PC, and carrying that into the garage is kind of a pain. We also opened the base map you sent Jim, and nothing showed up in the software, just 0's and something, but in notepad, there was obviously more info than the software was showing.

Hey guys,
I've been getting a few different questions regarding payments so I'm goign to lay this out again.
You've paid ME for your dyno slot. That has been covered and that payment also ensured you get to keep your spot. Your dyno fee is paid, show up early for your time slot - tell Jo Demarco you're name etc and go at it. No money exchanged there.
BDC - BRING YOUR MONEY WITH YOU TO PAY HIM. I don't want to get into taking these payments because of a number of reasons. A) Say your car can't be tuned for whatever reason and I'm not there that day. You'd have to track me down for a refund or whatever.....B) Say you're not happy with the tune or WHATEVER, a million different things could happen that may make you feel you don't want to pay - THATS BETWEEN YOU AND BRIAN. Not saying anything bad will happen, but we all know there's a wide range of possibilities.
The prices were laid out multiple times and Brian's fee is in the first post on this thread but here:
BDC's fee is $350USD, bring it with you!!!

Here's the current list. A couple car's weren't able to be finished in time so their spots are open. However, for the time being we're not going to book any cars for those times. They'll be avaiable to anyone currently signed up who either runs into a problem and needs to come back, or doesn't get their tuning done in time. It leaves us a little more flexibility.

hmm... that might not be a bad idea ... Let me get back to you on that tomorrow but I'm probably 80% sure that I can do that and like you said it would be a win win situation.

The way I read it: They'll be avaiable to anyone currently signed up who either runs into a problem and needs to come back, or doesn't get their tuning done in time. It leaves us a little more flexibility. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That is how I read it but I think Sam wants to be in a position to use the time if nobody has issues and the time is available. Plus I get out of my predicament with not being able to be there at my slot by trading with Sam.

Hey guys, everything's ready here. I hope I've been able to save a little time by doing the base maps and what not prior to heading out. My stamina is going to be pretty-well challenged while I'm out so hopefully I've shaved a little time off ahead.
As a reminder -- I'm doing each car on a case-by-case basis. It's the main reason behind why I don't make promises on x horsepower or x boost as each car is different and, therefore, requires different treatment sometimes. I'll spend as much time on the car as I need to make sure it's in the best shape I can leave it prior to ending my session with it. Some cars take a lesser amount of time than others. Some may require several hours. I won't do 'drive-thru' tuning; never have and I never will. You guys will see when I come out. My 100% interest is on the car and making sure it's as safe and reliable as I can do it. I'm a bit of a hard *** when I'm in the passenger seat so don't get upset with me if I'm a bit bossy. That's just the way it goes.
Can't wait to see you guys! I'll be at the airport tomorrow morning bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
