Exclamation Auto Art 787b is here

I've just picked up my 1:18th Signature Collection model from Mini Grid. Comes with a cleaning cloth, a small magnifier, a numbered certificate, and a small pamphlet.

He said they only got 4 in, and 5 were pre-ordered. They'll probably be available in the new year.

It's hard to fault the detail and precision on this model. Not cheap, 160 cdn., but to get equivalent detail I think you've normally got to pay significantly more. Overall, it actually seems like a good deal.

Yep, it's been out for awhile now... I'm pretty sure I'm getting that as a Xmas present from my bro...
If not I'll pick 1 up from my model store... I'm sure it'll be cheaper than $160... but not by much...

1 more added to my collection!

You guys and your expensive models. I am more than happy with the quality of the JADA toys stuff I get from the Wal for 5 or 10 bucks

Feds: You and your cheap models

Neo: Let me know the best price you find for the 787b as I need to add to the rotary collection.

I'm curious to see what price it can be had for as well. I just figured I wasn't taking any chances that it gets suddenly discontinued for some reason. I'm guessing 140 will be the cheapest it will be found at. My only disappointment is that, for the price, they could have done a little more on the packaging and the authentication certificate. The certificate looks like something my nephew would bring home to put up on his fridge.

Cheap Models

Meh, as I get older I am reverting back to my first love: HOTRODS!!! And JADA makes some sweet hotrod models.

My rotary super 7 is quickly becoming a Track T or Highboy Deuce with a full hot 289 and a toploader.

Of course, it's not that I haven't learned anything from my foray into sportscars: the drop axle and hair pins will be replaced by double wishbones and the "big 'n' littles" will be "big and biggers"

On ebay there seem to be bidding wars on the 787b... $80 USD + with dozens of bids.
