Well this is a Start,to my Voyage which will take me from Smiths Falls(Ottawa area) to various stops in Richmond Hill Toronto ,Misssissauga,Brampton,London..and Windsor..only to turn around and come all the way back..IT's A Parts Run ExtravaGanza!..I wanted to say that I'm leaving around 6-7am.and will be meeting with various forum members along the Route..Buying and Selling Parts all along the way.(YOu know who you are..LOL)..and Lookin forward to taking this Drive..Expect the Journey to be roughly 20 Hours of driving ..After all is said and Done,I will have roughly 90% of my parts for my 86 N/A....wish Me Luck!..I'll post on how the whole thing worked out ,the people I met and the deals I got(they got)....Sincerely..Misterstyx69

Dave, do you got a spare doughnut wheel (5 bolt pattern)? If so, bring It by (that Is If you've got room) and we'll work something out.

To all Involved..I arrived Home safely at 3:46 (SAT) this mornin ..safe and Sound,,Coldfire..I'll Call you ..When I get up..22 hours of drivin gets you sleepy!..BUT it was worth it!!..Misterstyx..thanks to all that were Involved..Nice meeting you ..I'll post more..(just tired ..)

 

UPDATE..PARTS RUN EXTRAVAGANZA..I started out from Smiths Falls at 6:20 pm ..after gettin my first of many Tim Horton's coffee..(always time for Tim Horton's!!)..and with traffic moving well along the 401 I was able to get to Toronto by close to 10:00 AM..so I made the first deal With Martini Racing for his spoiler(cute sister..haha!)..Then proceeded from Bayview to Major Mack and the 404 to get an interior and Seats From SIY..after shootin the "poo", I made my way to the mall close By.(Refill )..and Met up with Gkarmadi and JOE (RPM..check his web-site out!..www.rpmperformance.ca !)..exchanged parts and picked up an Aluminum Hood for Coldfire..From There I proceeded to Brampton and Met up with JIMMY54 ..gettin my Header..dropped some hubs off..I was Close to SOULJA'S place so I picked up MY New Aluminum hood(2 hoods and full interior and header IN Van now..)..Zippin across to Trafalger Road and the 401--I met JJohnston who bought My Stock spoiler,Rear Hatch and a retractor motor..DUFOURMIKE..I had to meet him..poor guy's car was overheating about 6 miles down the road and I had to Kindly say "I need your fenders out of my van!!...With that deal Done(time is off a bit now..) ,I head from Mississuaga to WINDSOR!.. I arrived in Windsor at Approximately 715pm,calling up T90man(rob) to pick up his rear calipers and also Motown(MARCIN..ya baby!).Rob took me through thestreets of Windsor and I then Proceeded to Load up a Complet 5 lug(with wheels) into the Already Cramped VAN.. THEN THE THUNDERSTORM HIT!..RAIN..UH.UH!...FIREHOSE PRESSURE WATER ON THE WINDSHIELD!..ZERO VISIBILITY..I MEAN "WHERE IS THE ROAD/CRAP YOUR PANTS..I'M GONNA DIE DRIVING A VAN FULL OF USED RX7 PARTS!..(if we would have wiped out the would most likely have wondered how MANY cars are in the accident..if just "us" were onvolved!!!)..left Windsor about 9PM..The rain made the driving shall we say "interesting"..but between London and Toronto it started gettin "tolerable"..After Toronto ..IT was Clear sailing through to Kingston ..and the last leg To Smiths Falls(hwy15) seemed like a Road Course..(constuction markers all over)..I Pulled into My Driveway at 3:46AM..SAFE AND SOUND!..Parts intact and took a deep breath!..I MADE IT!..I DID IT!!..all the phone calls and Scheduling pick-ups and drop-offs went pretty smooth ..and I achieved what I set out to do..AND MADE FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY..Thanks SAM,SIY,GEORGE,JOE,JAY,MIKE(dufourmike),Mike(soulj a),Jimmy,ROB(and friends)..and Of course..Motown(Marcin..Aspirin?!!..haha)..It was Quite the drive..I really wish I would have had a Camera..Spectaular LIGHTENING....thanks everyone..there's a little part of you now in my Car..sincerely Misterstyx69/Dave
