Another London Meet: Wortley Village Cruise Night
This coming Tuesday is the final Cruise Night of the season. It is also generally the largest of the year, with between 50 and 75 cars.
Unlike all previous weeks were the show takes place on Wortley Rd., this final show is on the grounds of the Monsignor Feeney Centre, the former home of the Catholic Board of Education. The Feeney center is only one block South from the regular location of the show, on Wortley Rd. across from the TD Canada Trust and slightly South.
There was some discussion at the meet last night about attending with a few RX-7s. I'm planning to be there for sure and it would be nice to have a number of RX-7s out.
The show starts at 5PM (most people arrive around 6PM) and goes until dark. There is no entry fee, but there are fundraisers for various causes such as 50/50 draws. Food (burgers and wieners) is available with the proceeds going to charity.

Well the weather held out all day even though it appeared as though it was going to rain, and all those who didn't attend missed a hell of a show. We set aside a little RX-7 area under the trees where Casual_John, dj55b and I displayed our cars. Lots of interest and we spent the entire evening talking to people about the cars. A bunch of RX-7s always seem to attract a cool crowd.
The show starts again in May of next year.
