Always asked.JDM Engines.??(Canada?)
It's probably been asked Numerous times before,But,here we go Again!..Where can you get a Good TII engine?..Preferably with Transmission...there must be a "PipeLine" somewhere In Canada.I haven't been able to find it(Tiger Japanese..Meh!).I would "like" a "good running" Engine too(not a "you would have to rebuild it,as it is on it's last legs"" Engine!)...Even if it's Only Info,Please Post. I will Buy you A Christmas Gift!,A Pony!,A case Of VD!..anything..Help!

I bought a engine from Tiger, I put close to 50k km's on it before a lost it to a pinched apex seal. No matter where you go there is always a chance that it's not good. The biggest problem is that engine could have been over heated in the passed, and you will never know.

50k thats not to bad. but it does mean that the 30,000k motor
that all the importers say the motors have on them is closer to
130,000k, seeing that most flip a apex seal around 180,000 to 200,000k.

I would say that the engine had about 60k on it before, so at 110k thats not great, but the engine never had an easy life either, some how it ate something, if it didn't it would have still been going today.
Best way to find one is look for the cleanest one, if you get 3 strong chuffs you should be good, other than the coolant seals.

I would contact Jim Kutschke at rotarydynamics.ca He is a member on this forum. He can build you an engine locally. he's picky as hell and a stand up guy. Ask anyone that knows him and they will tell you the same. Save yourself the headache and talk to heim. you won't be dissappionted.
