Hey, nice job!
I saw Azad there, too. If you need any help with the tuning, let me know, I might be able to make some time.
We have to get the Krew together for one last ROTAX CRUISE!!!

Congrats !
Bruno, check your vacum source to the internal map sensor, I believe it was getting a faulty signal.
And getting drawned in rx smell is good ( never thought I would have said that )

Bruno, I would check for sure that the nipple the MAP sensor is hooked up to, actually sees vaccuum. There are a few that see boost only. I'd check that before trying an external MAP sensor.
I checked the Haltech section, and there doesn't seem to be a post about a similar problem.

Hey, I checked the vaccuum lines on my setup:
Bottom nipple on front of UIM: Map Sensor
Bottom nipple on back of UIM: boost gauge.
2nd from bottom nipple on back: wastegate,

We tried all 3 options, and it didnt seem to do any difference.
but it seems the map sensor is okey as when bruno blew through it it read pressure and inhaled it read some vaccum.
I suggested taking the throttle body off, checking the black plate making sure no big leaks and then readjustign the throttle plates.
Did you do this bruno ?

The problem is the Haltech is currently telling us the car is idling at positive manifold pressure. Right now the car idles at bar 13, which is totally incorrect. Basically, since it's idling past the staging bar, we're trying to get it to run on 4 injectors.
I'm not sure that blowing and sucking on a MAP sensor is adequate troubleshooting, lol...
It's a streetport, so we should be pulling decent vaccuum. So either the MAP calibration is somehow messed up, the sensor is messed up, or the Haltech has a glitch.

the haltech had a clitch related to the barometric lock,
Originally it wouldnt change anything, then de locked and relocked and it started taking somekind of reading.

i had posted in the wrong thread i think, but i did what jon said and changed the lines and now it works fine and the car idles perfect and starts fine now. can't wait to have this thing on the road. im hoping to have some half decent paint on it and be driving by end of next week.

Ya car idles pretty good, could almost get it to idle at 14 afrs, never got a 13b to do that.
But for a descent idle it seemed to like the low 13's.
John is your map set at 38 or 40 for the fuel pressure ?

Sounds like the MAP sensor was hooked into a line that doesn't show vaccuum.
Good that it was just a matter of switching lines!!
I didn't load my map.
I just used the one that was already there.
All I did is clean up the ignition map.
