Not to mention the unexpected's. Every time I've taken a long trip to the US, theres always a traffic jam somewhere unless we drive through the night.

at 120km/h, it's 8.5 hours.

you have to add for fuel stops, traffic, etc.

there are no small towns on I-75 :P

realistically, leaving earlier is better, I was just saying

so I spent my day driving down I-76, and through alot of soutern PA and north eastern MD.

nice roads out here.

not sure what the weather will be like here in april, since it's mountainous, it could still be snowy - but man, there's some nice driving to be had.

I'm heading to NYC from here shortly (North East, MD) is where I am - I sure would like to drive these roads in a car instead of a truck.

The traffic we should be worried about would be Toledo, Cincinatti (those people cant drive AT ALL, no matter what time of day it is), because if we leave early Friday we will probably catch some morning rush hour. Lexington is never a problem, and we'll probably get Knoxville evening traffic. Including stops it's safe to count on a 12 hour drive minimum, on top of sitting at the border, although that won't take long if we are early enough. I would personally prefer to drive it all in one day, because I only booked off Thursday to Monday, so I'll need to get ready Thursday. But we shall see.

Poll:

Which cabin of the ones linked in this thread would anyone prefer? cuz if it comes right to it im just going to book whichever one is the least expensive but will hold the number of commited people.

It mostly for curiosity, but i like the one Ian found.

SWEEET!

I was thinking about brining my dog, oh well... no biggie either way, and it'll be less pain without him around anyways.

no indoor smoking shouldn't be a problem from any canadians anyways.

Looking at the pictures there it looked like 7 beds to me?

DIBS ON ONE OF THE QUEENS!

I'll be going in my GT-R unless by chance I get lucky and somehow wind up with a decent FD by then too...

You?? Here's what mine looks like at the moment:

I'm just finishing up some of the added on wiring (AI, MSD 6A, gauges...) and then it'll get ran through for a paint job/bomex kit/fitting the piece of crap CP Racing headlights. It'll be running by mid-march.

Can't wait to see that car finished. Alot of work. I still need mine painted!!!! I know I asked you two years ago about painting mine and I am thinking you will be waiting another two. I want the engine out etc. Might be half a year painting project!

Here is what mine looks like at the moment. What you don't see is the inside. Had to pull out half of the dash again to pull the innovative wideband out to get it repaired. (Innovative said nothing was wrong with it so it was all in vain).

Upper manifold will be removed to try and stabilize my TPS sensor. Stupid thing has a .3% error at zero throttle that stops the fuel cut and I have no idea how to set it up on the e8 to ignor it like the e6k did!

how much should each of us send?

is there 6 or us or 7 of us?

I don't care who sleeps where, as long as I get one of the queens :P

mine looks like it's covered with a foot of snow at the moment, I'm waiting to finish building the motor before I pull it back inside (only room to do one or the other at a time unfortunately!

I would rather pay extra to sleep in a bed then not. But I thought this place could sleep enough of us. We are not even sure who is staying with us at the moment?
