Okay, so I'm done being mildly bitter.
Got under the boat yesterday. The presilencer is untouched. My best guess is that it was the cat that hit when getting off the ferry, which would explain the huge scratch in the heat shield that I thought was from it falling off during the cruise.
The exhaust hangar has been welded back into place (I *love* our shop's new welder) and the setup twisted a smidge to get it a little higher off the ground. The leaks seems to have been just gaskets (phew.)
As for the shock - KYBs will be going in. Tokico is now on my blacklist. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/tokico-blue-shock-dead-less-then-2-months-153293/
smnc/Sarita - you're both very welcome. You weren't exactly in ideal shape for dealing with everything that was going on at the scene (and somebody had to talk the firefighters out of using foam on the car. ) All in all, the way I look at it is if I had been in your place and no one was stepping up to help me out with the little things as well as the big ones, it would have made the situation even shittier. So I jumped in wherever I could.
As a personal favour to me, next year slow the **** down. Mmkay?
Leigh - Never touch me there again when I'm peeing! You're dead! YOU'RE DEAD!!1! And then we both had Wet *******...
raven - coming over that hill and seeing you in that gravel lot, my only thought was, "Oh, crap - not again!" Thank god it was (almost) nothing. And you shouldn't have let me pass you so much on the drive home.
Whanrow - very nice FB. You can barely see the pile of wood shavings.
Frank - Andre Philippe Gagnon called -> he wants his hair back.
Evilsister - master of the map and the mahogany!
Vipernicus - we've got the tools, we've got the talent, and btw the bill's in the mail.
MyRxBad - the oil cooler's due in by Friday (I hope.) Enjoyed the cruise home - sorry about making your passenger dirty, but he needed learnin'.
charr - that remark will cost you a dance at Whiskey's.
coldfire - you've got a few new tricks now. Have you replaced those hoses yet, young man?
WankelingBeer - thank you for not eating me.
Lawyer's Spirit - a lovely passenger and outstanding cupholder. since you've been gone!

Hey hey, I finally got my car to idle!! YAY!!!
Some idiot (me) forgot to put the rubber o-rings in the primary injector holes, which cause air to suck in around the injectors!! I can't believe I put 1800kms on it that way!!!! Ahhh well, new motor going in soon....maybe....I hope.
88t2romad - the light show behind your car was cool, leave it alone lol

You passed me once on the way home as I recall I do believe I wasn't even touching the throttle at the time. I do recall passing an entire pack of cars right after you threaten to pass me and them bu you didn't make it by them all. Hmm...
But that drive home was fun even if I had to deal with your stinky car in front of me for some of it. You know I got 420Km to 42 litres ont he way home! 10K to a litre I was amazed!!!

If anyone has more pics or video of the crash (or the spin outs ), could you e-mail them to me at angelsbabe19@hotmail.com
Thanx,
Sarah
Also, Spencer and I are going to take detailed pics of the car, as we take the engine out (runs fine) and post some of them.

I actually kept track of my fuel economy over the course of the weekend.
From GTA to Belleville, 174km on 20.00 L - 8.7 km/L
From Belleville to Ottawa, 307km on 39.92 L - 7.68 Km/L
From Ottawa to...Ottawa, 158km on 27.96 L - 5.65 Km/L
From Ottawa to GTA, 407km on 43.41 L - 9.38 Km/L
I didnt take my car on the cruise, or I can imagine seeing some lower numbers...
But even still, I am glad to see my stock engine/turbos are less efficient than the single turbo guys making 400 hp...

Amazingly enough, I got INCREDIBLE gas milage on the second half of the cruise. Either that Ultramar was pumping out miracle fuel, or I was driving behind the right people because I got a little over 400k before I hit the empty line, which is insane because that's about a hundred km more than I usually get on a tank!
