Rew cosmo hybrid fc swap in progress
I am on the process of doing a rew cosmo hybrid swap on my fc.For motor mounts i am gonna use this(look at the pic)gonna use a s4 front cover, water pump and water pump housing with a s5 cas and main pulley, transmission is a hybrid between turbo tranny and third gen.The s5 turbo tail section will be swapped on the fd center with a turbo bellhousing and shield.2 take care of the oil cooler the fc cooler is staying and a set of custom ss lines are getting build. For intakes i am using cosmo re units with a stock modified cosmo fuel rail with 1600cc bosch secondary injectors.A s4 turbo primary fuel rail with a set of presicion 850cc injectors, aeromotive regulator and 2 aeromotive in tank pumps with ss lines will take care of fuel.A 80mm throttle body with a rising rpm adapter are use with the modified cosmo re upper.Turbo is a journal bearing turbonetics T72 with a p trim divided on 1.0 ar housing with a 3 inch downpipe, controlling boost a manual boost controller and hks 40mm gate.On the ignition side of things is gonna be running a lt8s,stock igniters, msd coils and street fire boxes. The goal of the project is 2 have a car that makes good power down low 2 be driven daily and strong enough 2 kill some v8s.
The rew block is just streetported.
More pictures 2 come!

Well the 1.0 ar divided housing that i ordered wont fit my garrett-turbonetics hybrid turbo cause mine has the taller garrett profile exhaust wheel and also i have not get back my cosmo upper intake back from the welder. The good news are that i got my banzai block off plates and they are and look amazing.

No go on the fuel tech ecu
Got my upper intake back from the welder!S4 turbo front cover is on and now i am getting my oil pan done.Is a fd oil pan with the fc motor profile on the front that way it matches the motor perfect and i wont get oil leaks.

Intake and throttle body
I decided not 2 use the single blade throttle body and went with a 20b throttle body.Got it from olyrx7 here in the forums. The throttle body was taken apart, secondary plates removed and holes plug with 3/8 allen plugs. Also all the extra junk was removed and a billet throttle rotor installed using a FD TPS.

Progress has been a little slow..........i am thinking about changing the motor mount setup and just drill and tap the center iron.Have my S4 turbo fuel rail finished!I had 2 get the mounting bolt holes drilled 2 a bigger size and get 2 spacers made 2 help the injectors 2 sit flush, had some of the microtech wiring done 2.I am using a NASCAR connector that will let me pull the motor out in the future by just unplugin it!

Today i finished the passenger side engine mount(drilled and tapped the holes)installed the pick up tube and oil pan.On the driver side mount i am using the 2 holes that the REW center plate comes with. The one is a stud and the other one is a coolant drain,i installed a stud on the coolant drain hole(now i have 2 studs for the stock second gen engine mount)and the mount is getting modified so i can use a third hole that is right at the top of the mount. That gives me 3 mounting studs like factory.Just look at the pictures so you understand what i am saying. For the turbo manifold i am using one for a fc cauze it moves the turbo further away from the lower intake so that should help a little bit with getting a cooler denser charge.

more!
I couldnt edit my last post.........here is the driver side mount, well not build yet but that is the way is gonna be.The 2 top small holes are getting filled cauze we are not using those. We are using the 2 bottom ones(the big one has 2 get filled and then a new hole has 2 be added and the the one all the way on the top is the third one.Not that much fabrication involved and it should work. And a picture of the almost completed engine.

Sorry that i have not updated my thing in a couple of days but i just spent a couple of days at the doctors after having a tiny heart attack.I am cool now back at home so we are good!while i was in the hospital i ordered a gilmer pulley kit, scored a 20b throttle body elbow for a dollar and some change from ebay, ordered a kg fuel primary rail with 11mm bores so i can use my low impendance precision turbo injectors(after messing around with my s4 fuel rail decided not 2 use it)and a 50mm blue tial blow off valve! The 20b stock aluminum elbow is getting drilled and the tial flange welded 2 it!Still undecided on what ems 2 use...........my friend is a fueltech dealer and he is giving me a complete setup(ems, spark probox and wideband)for a really good price but i have not see many support for this ecu.Dont get me wrong the screen and wideband look amazing but i dont know maybe stay microtech or haltech for now and go from there.

easy
Piece of cake! You have more than enough room casting 2 do it!It took me maybe and hour 2 drill 5 holes......3 for the passenger side engine mount and 2 on the botton left for the oil pan.For the oil pan 2 seal good on that left lower corner you have 2 fill 2 tiny holes with jb weld and redrill them a little bit 2 the left,or you can just drill 2 new holes on the oil pan and call it a day.Il post pictures of those 2 later.
