It looks realy clean and probably one of the best kept FC's in Skandinavia. Can't wait to see it IRL, seller is offshore at work until 22. april, so won't be able to go get it before then.
Been just 2 owners before me, the current one bought it from a car collection in Sweden in 2016.
Will be realy nice to get a car i can just drive and enjoy, that just need basic maintenance. But i love modifying, so i think i need to keep the other one as a project car.

Tried making the whole piece in one go, but was to complex for me to get all the gaps good enough not to burn thru all the time. So i decided to start with a simpler piece, and go from there. Just welded it on now, not perfect but good enough for me 😅

Plan to just enjoy the new one for now, and then decide what to do with the black one after the summer. It's so smooth to have a stock working fc, only downside is it's a little quiet and lacks a little hp, but it's too clean for me to want to modify it.

Wow what a nice FC! You must keep that one stock and continue on your other projekt car!

Hope to see you again at ACR in the future

Thanks, realy happy i found it so i have a fc to drive around in again.

That is the plan, want to get the black one on the road and ready for track days. In the meantime i have a e36 drift car if the new management at acr means that sommertreff will be back.

Slow going, but got a bit more welding done. Need to grind some of the welds a bit more.

Finished with the wheel arch, got the car on wheels stands so i can work on the skirts. But for now i started on fixing some rust on the right front fender, not so easy to find good rust free parts, so i think it is worth the effort to try to fix it. But time will tell.

Soo, been a change of plans. I finally realised this build is too time consuming compared to the cost of buying a better FC. So i agreed to swap my red low mileage FC for two good condition ones, value should be similar enough. And i realised that stock fc's are no fun, atleast not for me, so i would rather send the nice stock one to someone who can appreciate it.

One is a turbo 2 S5 with bn bodykit, fresh paint but no engine, transmission or diff.
Other one is an NA S4 with turbo 2 drivtrain and about 400hp.

Both cars need work, but mostly wrenching and not bodywork and paint.
Since i'm going to need alot of parts to make both of theese how i want them, i'm going to strip the black car completely and then send the empty shell to the crusher.

Sad to hear we won't see the black car come together, but I can't fault your reasoning. Hope to see pics of the 2 new ones soon!

Not what i wanted but with limited garage time since i want to spend much of my time with my gf and 1 year old son, it was about time to stop being sentimental and use some logic😅.
not to happy about it, but now it is done, stripped all the parts off so it's just the bare shell left, and even cut out some body panels.

Here are the new cars, haven't gotten them home, so more pics will come when i do.

Videos after stripping the black fc this weekend. Only things i won't keep is the windshield and rear hatch since those are junk, and bumpers are going in the bin since i already have spares for those.

Wow! You stripped it clean, nice job!

The two new FCs look to be in really nice condition, I look forward to seeing them built.

Yeah looked realy good, but the red one had some rust after closer inspection, so back to rust repair...
