Primary's are kinda done
I'm having trouble smoothing the bowl out.
Everything I've used so far makes little bumps I can't sand out
Any tips on this?
Runners are mildly smoothed out
Lim is smoothed and looks way nicer, aluminum is easy to work with for me
Cuttin the secondary bridges tomorrow, wish me luck

Porting is pretty much done
My Mazda race prep book called for a 5mm bridge and a 6mm port
I split the difference and went 5.5mm on both
The top of the bridge is at the top of the port, and the length is 30mm(not sure if this is too small)
I cut 1.5 mm towards the water jacket so I notched the housings to match

Not bad at all! That bridge looks good and the housing port match will let you enjoy the complete flow of the bridgey!but still stock intake and that is gonna hold you back..........

First drive tonight. Friggin rad, nice and brappy
No stumbles, very smooth throttle transition, and lotsa torque.
I'm on stock timing right now and aux ports are closed while I break it in since Im keeping it under 4000 rpm.
Ill post a vid up as soon as exhaust is done.
I drove it tonightwith just a header/presilencer, just for a few blocks
It's back up in the air for proper exhaust fitment tomorrow.
All of my expectations were surpassed.
It's so smooth, I can't wait to redline it!
How many miles ya think I should do to break in the seals?
It only has new apex seals. All other hard seals were reused

It's wantin to sit around 1650 to 1750.
Not to bad really.
Some of the local rotards keep trying to get me to bump it up to 2k, but it doesn't pull enough vacuum to wanna stay there.
It's happy where it is for now
20 degrees leading leading advance and it idles fine with a nice hard pulse.
Not much fuel loading either
I might post a vid of it cold starting under a couple feet of snow:/ hah
Runs great

Just stock 460cc/min primaries and turbo 550cc/min secondaries.
I don't have a A/F gauge yet. Soon tho
Really seems to run fine so far, I cold started it at 7 degrees just fine last night
I'm mounting up snow tires in the morning and drive 300 ish miles home.
On snow covered canyon roads. Hah , wish me luck

Uphill pull,I think it still slow ish.
Showing smoothness more than speed.
Didnt really hit full throttle.
I pushed it to the floor a couple times but the cable is adjusted so it doesnt open the TB all the way.
Im still afraid of revving it. I need to mess with the timing some more.
and new plugs, and ECU hah
