Got the down pipe fixed where it was broken, it looks ghetto but it it's sealed inside and looks much better inside then it does on the outside.
As long as it works for a while I don't really care how it looks, hopefully I can put exhaust wrap over it so its not visible.
Here's before and after , ill take a pic of the inside later.

I know people are on a budget, but a welding shop could have done that for a case of beer probably. Looks like it was welded way too cold and will probably crack when a spirited run is made.
Great project, however.

Iif it does crack ill probably just replace the entire downpipe. I wasn't very impressed with the welding that was done but I don't know how to weld so I am pretty much stuck with it I will probably get a racing beat downpipe to replace it as soon as it cracks I hope it will last a while I won't be driving spirited until my break in is over

I'm broke right now just doing what I can to get it running, ill worry about that later.
The exhaust that's on there came with the car when I bought it, its not the greatest and I unluckily cracked that piece and had to get it welded.
So if I do get it replaced I will still have to get the next piece welded unless I replace everything up to the y pipe because they had everything welded in one piece all the way up to the y pipe, also after the down pipe it goes to 3" then goes back to 2.5" at the y (not something I would of.done personally)
>.<
So really its more complicated then just replacing the down pipe. Ugh

Just got the transmission prepared and put the new pivot ball on the transmission and the new release bearing.
The only major jobs left can be done after the engine is put in if need be, the only concern is a few wires in the harness that could use some attention.
1) walbro 255 install and rewire
2)fuel filter/fuel lines
3) radiator/oil cooler
I'll likely save the radiator and oil cooler for last, they just get in the way.
I have new silicone hoses to replace the questionable ones already ordered, they're on their way, so ill use the old ones for now.

Soon y'all should be seeing some pics and a video of her firing up.
Everything is ready for a go.
I still need to install my walbro fuel pump , it looks like an easy install so I may do that as I'm doing the engine after its bolted in.
