your right not much really the rear shocks are being done now, need to get springs for them then every thing suspension, steering and handling wise will be finished so i can drop the car down onto wheels. then i need to take my alloy rad to a shop to get some welding done, then its just mounting every thing for final time. i have done the seats got them sitting good now just waiting on the auto sparky to do his thing with my rude wiring lol. right now i am selling parts i got for my carb set up and colecting parts for a custon efi megasqirt set up. the price of a ida or any carb like it out did the cost i could build my own efi set up including the megasquirt ecu. updates on interior very soon...

not yet waiting on parts to arrive in the post, all though i have had "aerosev" do alot of work on building me custom rear coils overs witch will drop the car stupid low, he welded up my alloy rad, and drilling my fuel pressure reg to alow more flow. i should have the car out of the garage soon for prep and paint i will take some photos then. all so the dash has to come out again for auto sparky to do the wire up as i failed lol other than that i have done stuff all realy got all the paint off the sun roof welded it in and siliconed the inside thats about it

small update

hey guys here are some more cheap mods for you because i am cheap lol
1st up ''aerosev'' has finished my rear coil over's i only had him do this as i simply do not have the tools to do it. total cost for front and rear coil over's including aerosev's work done $750nzd ($624.90usd)

A length is 400mm, he took 1 1/2 inch of length out of the main shock
B he took 40mm of length out to allow me to keep the original springs that came with the coil over's
C he took out 12mm of length to shorten the base mounts that little bit more

here are a few of the parts i am starting to collect for the efi set up
$40nzd crank angle sensor ($33.33usd)
cleaned and painted heat proof saturn black

fuel pressure reg once again ''aerosev'' machined entry and exit and taped bigger thread to allow more fuel fpr cost $41nzd ($34.16usd) and aerosev charged me roughly $20nzd ($16.66usd) i say roughly as it was done with other work i had him do at the same time

4 bosch hec715 coils $107nzd ($89.15usd)

the start of my ghetto roll cage padding lol lol i carefully cut a ''noodle'' witch is a pool floaty toy for kids and wrapped it and cable tied it up, trust me that blue was the best colour haha

more

carter fuel pump to lift the fuel out of main tank to surge tank i basically got this for free as i paid $60nzd ($49.99usd) and it came with a holley fpr witch i sold for $60nzd ($49.99usd) and a russell fuel filter witch i sold for $50nzd ($41.66usd) and i also got a bunch of earls 8an fittings with it too that i have used in fuel lines for surge tank set up so that was a mad deal haha

custom made alloy 2l surge tank i got for $70nzd ($58.32usd)

and the same guy i got it off gave me a deal for buying his walbro 500hp external fuel pump that had only 10hours use for $120nzd ($99.98usd)

got all new 8an fuel fittings and a in line filter $120nzd ($99.98usd)
still waiting on the stainless braided hose to come in the post to finish the set up

sun roof i ditched because i cant justify spending money on **** like that to have it fixed plus my cusco cage didn't fit with it in so we cant be having that **** yo! so i took the panel off and through the sun roof in the bin. welded the panel in (i learnt to weld on this lol) i know not the best idea but im good like that haha it turned out ok i thing it worped a bit but no to worry that's what bog filler is for.. plus i fixed a hole bunch of rust it had as some 12 layers of paint previous owners had just painted over it time and time again

i used roof silicon sealer a hole tube to be sure it didn't leak to seal it up

and this is some JDM as **** fur fabric im going to glue to the roof to hide all the ugliness of the silicon and unpainted and painted miss matched stuff going on up there plus when my head hits the roof from solid bushing 10/kg spring rate it may not hurt as much hahaha (and yes you are allowed to hate on that it is gay to most but i like the idea of it)

and aerosev welded my radiator for me

now the misses want me to cut down on the spending as the kids need a new play ground so i going to start on that so over the next 4 months i will just be saving for a megasquirt computer and a exhaust to be fabbed up
in the 4 months i will be doing the following..
drop down o wheels to get it rolling
finish the roll cage padding and install
fuel lines finished
sun roof finished
find and buy exterior side trim and hood prop
radiator hoses finished
mount coils
heat rap the headers
make heat shield and rap in heat proof tape
adapt the pp manifold to the throttle body
fabb up a extra fuel rail
remove the rusted snapped bolts from the bottom of front grads
paint all trim, hatch and tail lights black
remove the window squinters
put seats in

once that is complete i will work on painting this bitch saturn army tank olive green
cheers
