After seeing a nice set of polished t2 rims, I am convinced I need to do mine like that instead of powdercoat or paint. They look so nice when polished!

Your car is looking better and better! What are you planning to do for paint?

These T2 wheels are just the factory machined face, I am planning on polishing them out. Ive done a few sets of wheels before, and I am not looking forwards to these!

I'd like to go back to arctic silver, but I need a garage first. And we still havent found a house that meets all of our criteria. I have been going back and forth thinking about gutting the rust, and temporarily rattle canning it white (Cheap, I find it easy to lay down). Ive never posted my rattle can work here before, but I can assure you, it will look good. I just cant bring myself to spray bomb the car. And it isnt helping that I am broke most of the time, and I dont have any gas for my welder! So far the turbo is trumping the bodywork. lol!

For a laugh here is a fender I did on my old rusty POS truck

Yeah, eventually we put rust free doors on it, and a hood. Never did anything to the bed before I got rid of it. But that is Duplicolor Cardinal red from a rattle can, with a clear coat.

And for the hell of it, a pic of it in its awesome glory.

Yes the FB's E-brake doesnt work, it was a side effect of swapping an LSD rear with rear disc brakes under the car. Havent picked up the proper cable yet..

Just an update, car is still running! Ive been pretty busy recently and havent done a whole aweful lot to the car. I deleted the FPD, replaced it with a banjo bolt, and installed a T2 front cover.

I was tired of my homemade drain, I didnt like its lack of angle, and I hated using a rubber hose. I used hard line for the feed, so I wanted a hard line for the drain. And I was pretty sure it was part of the death of a few of my turbos. Worth the effort for sure, if I could do it all over again I would install this instead of experimenting with all my different drains.

Now I just need to get motivated to clean my engine bay... My FB's bay you could eat out of, and this undercoating crap Mazda used on the FC is just terrible..

I keep getting tempting cash and trade offers for the car too... Its becoming difficult to hold onto, but I dont want someone else to get it and blow it up...
