I was not able to figure out where this connector goes, can anyone chime in if you recognize it? It's in the same wire loom as the alternator harness

There are a couple of items that I need to address that didn't work out. The reverse lights stay on at all times (I'm assuming it's something I need to figure out on my body harness wiring. The Jspec OEM downpipe is to long that will not allow me to bolt up my cat and exhaust, a visit to the muffler shop should be able to shorten the downpipe.

I have a question for you, after you finished all the rhd
conversion was there any place you had to take it to for an
inspection? I was told you have to have the chp or some other government
agency check it out so it meets some safety standards or something along
those lines. the person in question was a police officer that used to be a mechanic
he told me they give a sticker of some kind so that every is all good and legal
any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

the US T2 has a different 5th gear switch, i think it does 5th and reverse, and the JDM only does reverse or something, switch is NLA, but getting the lights to work should be simple

btw what size wheels and what size tires are those?

I spoke to my local Chp branch and actually showed them the work performed, no inspection needed as long as no factory safety equipment has been changed or modified.

making the conversion. bcus I would like to make an fd rhd drive and

Subscribed! Legit build man. One thing I noticed, on your vert's subframe, there is not additional reinforcement brace going across, right behind the engine. I found that mine has one and though all convertibles had this. I'll post a pic of it if you don't know what I'm talking about.

I didn't ask about year but I don't think it actually matters, the only reason it would raise concern if you alter the safety equipment. I called in advance and went through the details.

Thanks Rudy! The front cl didn't come with one but I was able to mount my OEM convertible brace with no issues

I haven't really been working on the car lately but here's a update with items I still need to address

*reverse light stays on at all times
(I tried disconnecting the reverse switch with no success)

*steering shaft joint makes contact with the hard pipe heater core line
(Going to try and bend the pipe without putting a kink in the pipe)

*power windows not working
(Not sure where to start with this one.)

Brake rotor rust is heavier than expected and will not come off with drive
(Going to get the rotors resurfaced)

The test drive was quite a bit of fun seeing it all come together even though there's still more work to be done.

Here's some pictures from the test drive, BTW PBM coilovers are so STIFF!
*I need to play with the exhaust hangers, the exhaust hangs low on a s4 rear bumper
