Thanks guys. I have been working on this one for almost 6 years now. I don't think I'll ever run out of things to do (or try) with the old girl. I think this winter I may something for the "heart" of this beast!

Another quick update. Since the 3" exhaust upgrade, I haven't been real happy with the position of the muffler. Just looked too droopy to me. I put out as far as I did because of the flames. It just never looked right. So I decided to give it a more "tucked" look. I added some flame protection as well Kinda gives her a unique look.
Details.. I've been wanting to do one of these for over two years now.

Aluminum with rivits. I used to get aluminum srap at work. This is actually heat shield aluminum from big truck mufflers. I just cut it with a jig saw. Sanded the aluminum with 320, then 400, 800, 1000, and 2000. Polished with Mothers and Captian Lee's.

Being as winter is coming up, I decided to knock out a few upgrades a little early. Since I have been running the Turbo FB at 15psi, obviously the stock clutch was going to go sometime. It's not completely gone, but I figured since it couldn't handle the power in 3rd, 4rth, or 5th, It wouldn't be long. I have also decided to swap out the stock springs with something a little more agressive. After carefull debate, I decided to drop in a ATD stage 3 6puck with the heavy duty pressure plate.
I also have been sitting on a S4 tranny for a while waiting for a good time to put it in. Since he trans needed to come out for the clutch swap, this was the time. I knew I would have to swap tailshafts, and I already had a S4 starter in the car. This is going to be good!
With the suspension, everything has been ship shape, but I wanted to step it up a notch with the handling. So, I decided to go with the Eibach blacks up front, and the 225 blues in back. A couple of pics of the old parts.

Those parts look mighty clean. Wonder who did that
Looks good. I got some ReSpeed poly bushings here, which I probably won't be using. Let me know if you feel like you need them.
