Tok appart the rear axle again today, ordered new parts for it that should come in tomorrow.
So here you have a picture of how the driveshafts looked like after a run with slicks and 1,2 bar in boost.
and also two pictures where i compares the old rear brakes with the new ones

Got the driveshafts installed in my rear axle today.. The new driveshafts are "fully floating" which means that the driveshaft are'nt in one piece with the wheel hub as they are in a normal rear axle.
On this axle, the driveshafts are built with splines in both ends, both in the differential, and in the wheel hub.
Here there is a picture of all the parts together.
The most shiny parts here are the brackets that i have to use to put the new wheel hub on to the rear axle.
Here you have the new wheel hub, and if you look on the inside of it, you'll se that it has splines on the inside
Ready for assembly
The new driveshaft on its way in.
Here the driveshaft is in its place, the bog washer you se in the end of it here is for preventing it for moving in to the axle.
Here it is finished, the blue cap in the end is for preventing the shaft for moving out from the axle again. The cap is held in place by a locking ring.
And then, finalt the brake disc is also mounted to the axle.

I am speechless. This build is by far the most comprehensive I've seen done on a first gen. Simply incredible. I can only imagine the money that was dropped into that car. Im in the process of doing something close to my car, but with more creature comferts then yours. And Ill be sticking with a 13bTII and a gls rearend.
You ready to start making that whose widebody peices to ship state side yet? I need to get myself a xmas gift.

I love the first gen body..
I'm making fiberglas parts for sale now, if there is any interest for them, but when coming to the sideskirts, i have made them out of aluminium, and not CF.

Got the front brakes from England now, so here are some pictures of how they look on the car, looking forward to see how the braking capability will be on the car now. The brakes measures 335x32 and are fitted together with a Alu 6 pot caliper.
The front brakes is from Hispec, deilivered by AtomicRex in UK.
