With regards to colors, such as the post I've quoted, it really all depends on what you are trying to do with the car. If you are trying to exactly replicate a Japanese Mach Green '78/'79 car except for the RHD, keep in mind that Mach Green was only available in Japan on two models: the Limited of 1978/9 and the SE-Limited of late '79/1980 (essentially two top of the line models above the GT, Super Custom, Custom and SE-GT). A reason the Mach Green color mix formula info may have shown up only for 1980 in a 1979 Service Bulletin book is because in Japan they use the year of manufacture, whereas here we obviously use the model year. So, technically, since Mach Green was only available in 1978 and 1979 (manufacture years), over here we would interpret that as 1980 model year.
The seat fabric for a 1978/9 Limited with Mach Green paint was actually a red, off-black and white plaid mix- only with dark red vinyl backs. For the 1979 SE-Limited, it was grey cloth with off-black vinyl backs. Both interiors had the full seat surface, including tops of bolsters covered. Check all the Japanese brochures to see what I mean.

[QUOTE=Gen1onr;11108527]Synergy green! Wicked awesome color.
I had planned to paint one of my FBs synergy green but other projects took over and I sold the car. Tested it out on the header panel and it looked sick! Would still love to paint one of my FBs that color sometime.
love the deepness very nice! I love retro colors!!. all cars are the same now days no style no soul!! lol

its slow but its progress!
got the engine bay ready for cleaning!! still gotta take subframe out due to the millions of gallons of brake fluid leaked and dumped all down the engine bay.. but its not tht bad.. now if I can get it back together after paint! havent decided on if im gonna do the 12at or put the 13bt in it yet.. both need rebuilt before daily driving.. and we all know how any rotary turbo has to be precise or boom!! so im thinking of rebuilding the 12a and running stock for break in and then putting the boost on at about 2k miles or so,along with new exhaust..

more progress!!:)
so today I desided subframe and steering box were coming out!! so after getting them out I scrubbed my *** off!! finally got it all down to orignal primmer where it was still usable... used steelwool on the rust (took forever).. and finally got to lay down my etch! I think it looks 100% better already..
did a second coat but forgot to grab some pix..

Just trying to get most of my project in hand before going official with it. Still my dream though
