complete powertrain bolted in, all wires ready.

It will be a few good weeks ahead, stay tuned.
Man, i cant wait, soon my baby will once again awaken, after 3 years in the garage

Well, time to revive this thread from the dead.... That engine i was being told was crated...? Seller = Legion = scammer! He yanked me around for a few months, and then vanished.. Then, with the help of this good forum, i got a hold of his name, adress, phone number etc... so i got a hold of him. He pulled the old " oh, its shipped, dunno what to say, blabla.. i will reimburse you", and i got half... then he disappeared again, for good this time, so i filed a scam charge through my bank. They reimbursed me, and took the case against the US bank and legal system.. That retard barked up the wrong god damn tree this time. He ruined his life for 1000 dollars, and that sentence will stay on his record for life.
So, i dug up another engine though the awesome Allrotor93. Cost me abit more, but well worth it!
2000 mile Banzai racing built large streetport 13B-rew, with TII lowcomp rotors, RA black superseals etc.. Banzai even has the buildthread on the engine, on their homepage, and it made over 500 hp no sweat.
Allrotor93 is one truely awesome person to deal with. He agreed to be my parts storehouse over there while i searched for parts, and got em shipped to him, so i could stuff it all in a crate and get it shipped over here
So, in that crate being shipped soon now, is

Banzai racing engine
LS coils
AEM waterinjection
Kaaz diff in the pumkin, bought from a forum member. Allrotor93 knew the guy and dropped by him to pick it up for me
greddy elbow, tapped for AI
new 6puck clutchkit
blockoffkit from banzai
dash pod
400lph walboro pump
pfc datalogit
pfc commander

and some more stuff i cant remember off the top of my head.

So, just about to pay shipping, and hopefully 3 weeks later, we have all the goodies here in the garage Man, i cant wait! Season is comming soon!!

Also have spent my last months in the cold winter, refurbishing the house, so that is 90% done too, but damn its expencive to own a house..

i wish i have the time and money for what you have been doing... mostly the money, because i have the time. would love to freshen up the car
Thanks, i will be running 550/1600s, so i will be in the borderline area... but the 400lph pump might give me that extra top i need

I've never been as hung over as i was riding in your car that day, but it is possibly the best drive i've ever had

Awesome to hear you're back up to normal, and managed to track down that scamming son of a bitch!

Aaaahhh, what a fine day it was indeed, and the perks of being single and living alone is the fact that you can take your work with you indoors if you want to. Started out abit chilly, but once the sun came out, it was superb!
Started to rewire my fueltank for the walboro 400 pump. 4mm wire(good for 30 amp), 30 amp relay, 30 amp fuse. 12V direct from battery, to a relay now powered by the cars original pump power wire. Alcatraz on the computer, and just chillin while i do the wiring work.

Got this nice prepped relay socket to make relaychange easy business.

The dog is curious about what "dad" is up to

I love heatsrink socks, makes everything look so nice and clean

Prepped wiring loom

Took the fuel pump bracket out, and spotted something i really didnt like

Stock RX7 pump too that did this..!

Imagining this thing catching fire IN tank..!

Finally, the sun came out and temps went up alot!!

Drilled out two new holes for the power supply:

Grabbed some speaker wire with rubber that withstands chemicals, and added an extra wire sock on it for insulation

Drilled the holes extra large and added an extra sock for more insulation and making the whole thing stick really tight so it wont move around

Added some fuel and chemical resistant silicone to seal it properly

Also, cut open my front bottom cover earlier to make a cold air intake to my radiator. It scoops air from below the front lip, and straight to the radiator sitting in stock location, and from there, out through a vented seibon hood. Should be enough imo. I will also add some alu sheets to further guide the air.

uhm, Øyvind... i hope your not planning to use Biltema relays for that install?
i would NOT use them for something as critical as the fuel system. they are not reliable, i have changed them out on the rx4 3times already+ ill have to change 3 from my FDs light system (all fried) buy some good bosh relays, its a shame to blow a 5000$engine by saving 6$ on a descent relay

The engine and all the goodies has finally arrived.
first of all, hats off to Allrotor93(Jonathan) for being an excellent seller! He let me use him as a parts-base, so i could get all my stuff shipped to him, and ship everything from him to me in one single shipment! I bought the engine off of him, a beautifully built banzai racing engine, large smooth streetport, T-II 8,5 rotors for high boost capabilities.

Yukon/LS coils, to be paired up with my hks twin power and magnecor 10mm sparkplug wires

poly diff bushes:

a kind gesture from banzai racing!

More nice goodies from banzai, they are just awesome!

got my commander:

and commander holder:

my 3 bar map sensor:

pressed the polybushes:

and fitted the kaaz diff and housing to the car:

more bolt-on work:

took my steering rack appart and "manualized" it, as it was leaking anyways, so i tought, lets try manual rack!

found this thing hid away behind a ton of parts, thought about using it on an old project once, but i ditched the project.. Could this be a nice thing to run on the rear diff? Does the rear diff get hot when used hard?

started to get tired, as i was on a hard drinking night out yesterday, so i packed in and called it aday. Startup is not far away now. Man, i cant wait, the car has been sitting for 4 years now...!

A few things you will want to take care of:

The black plastic spacer for the primary fuel rail is not installed. Also make sure that the rubber grommets that seal the rail to the block are installed and not damaged from having the spacer missing.

You will want to install another bolt in the ISC plate, you do not want any vacuum/boost leaks.

Hehe, its great when it comes to being able to do what you want without having someone nagging on you for small things like using the dishwasher as a partswasher..!

Hi! sorted out the plastic spacer right after taking that picture, and the rubber grommets was fine, luckily
About the IC plate, those two pins were genuinely stuck, so i spaced em up with some spacers and a good sealant to make sure they stay airtight. i have however "written it down" behind the ear, to have it in the back of my head in case of airleaks.

Hmmm... I TOTALLY forgot i had this build thread....!
She was up and running last autumn

Turned key, fired right up. 4,5 years in the making, all new and rebuilt everything from engine, to fuel, to air, to exhaust, to ECU, to ignition...! 1 second after turning key, fired up and ran like a dream...! GAWD..!

This year, its building a new AEM coil setup(on the way from Ludwig), fixing the water injection controller my girlfriend broke(on the way from Banzai), changing to a fast reacting AIT(have it), swapping in a new 86or so degree thermostate(on the way from banzai), setting in two new 3way solenoids from lucky7( 140psi industrial solenoids to replace the original precontrol and boost), and fitting a new door opening mecanism( courtesy of Fritz Flynn).

Cant wait to push the BNR to 21 psi in seq. Will post vids and dyno sheets.

In the mean time.... from autumn last year, stock boosting on a rich fuel setup. So rich i had to turn off water.
