The Story of My FD and my single turbo build (from Argentina) **Heavy post**

Just buy a blank flange and have it welded to your current manifold. Then you'll get the spacing and you won't need an extra gasket between the spacer and the manifold, it will be just one big piece. Then just get some longer header studs. Problem solved!

Can probably find it cheaper, but here is what I'm talking about:

i have a similar issue. i havent addressed it yet but if you go the spacer route, since your in Argentina id recomend just going to a machine shop to model it up and put it through a water jet.. i dont think it should be that hard..

One solution might be to cut a very small wedge (maybe the width of a cut off wheel) out of the runners immediately under the turbo flange on the side furthest from the engine, hammer the flange back down to close the gap, test fit it, cut more if necessary, then weld it back up. This would tilt the turbo away from the engine giving you the needed space.

ok, here we go again...
i have the blank flange, thanks to mazdatrix....
then i make a new wiring for my injectors with the resistors, i don't know if that is the best place for them, but they are secured to the solenoid rack very firmly
i started to connect a lot of clips and before doing that i put a lot of this "contact" cleaner, called "contactmatic", i don't want "connection problems" and i also changed a few old wires
and then i take care of my ignition
it's not a lot, but at least is something, i also show you a pic of my new toy, she is the one who took me all the time i needed to build my car... but it's one of the funniest thing i ever had
see yaa!
sorry about my english
