S4 na FC, 13b-rew swap

So a couple months ago I picked up a 1988 na fc with a blown engine as a project. After tearing it apart I found worse damage than what I expecting as the previous owner neglected the oil. When weighing out the costs I found that it would cost about the same if I preformed the 13b-rew swap. Finally I came to the conclusion that if I didn't do the swap right the first time i would never be happy with the final product.

With that in mind I have decided I want my car to be 400+ish bhp.

Within the next few months I will be able to get my hands on an fd donor car, (I know a guy) which I am planing on using for the engine, trans, and diff as well as some other obvious bits. If I remember correctly the fd diff will not fit on my fc so my plan is to use the fd's rear-end. I am also not wanting to break the bank on this car so the more parts I can use from the fd the better.

For mounting the 13b-rew i will be welding a bracket into the sub-frame so I can use the stock fd mounts. I will be trying to do most of the modifications myself which will also include porting the motor. I will first practice on the s4 block I already have, but if I don't feel comfortable enough to do the rew there is a machine shop i can take it to.

I have yet do decide what turbo upgrade parts I will want to use but I have a long time to decide that.

I don't want to half-*** this build, I want it done right the first time. Since it is my first time working on this platform, I am open to suggestions on areas I am glossing over or am ill-informed.

(Pictures will be posted when I have time to take them in the sunlight, probably tomorrow)
