so im wondering if you have a write up with pictures of how to get the wiring harness routed and hooked up inside the car instead of in the enigne bay. its a great idea since it cleas up the engine bay and also gets some more room.

i don't have a write up for that. i have just connected the wiring loom on the inside of the car and then started to cut and push out the connectors one by one.
it's a hell of a job but if you do wire by wire and use a lott of little papers to remember what wire to connect with other wires you'll get there

Great rebuild project, keep up the good work. I always dreamt of doing a rebuild project of my own from scratch similar to your one but I don't have the time and the talent lol

Rotormotor Goes Veilside Fortune

i also don't have much time but when i have time i'm busy on it. sometimes little stuff i do when i'm watching tv :p or when i'm having conversation with my girlfriend

Ps: it's time to tell i'm going for the Veilside fortune kit.
i know i know not everyone likes it but hey it's a choice and i like it very much.

Nothing wrong with the Veilside kit, maybe it's not for the performance purist but it's definitely a head turner (as well the candy apple red) but someone should try non-divided rear window.

Either that or the actual veilside style rear window (just not divided), but the original RX7 would be the best for rear vision I think. Can't wait to see new pics..........

So did you cut the wires and then splice in a new wire to lengthen the wires that were too short?

OR

Did you de-pin the connectors and then add more wire in and put the new section of wire into the connector?

It seems like a great mod if you have everything pulled apart anyways and it doesnt continue to get cooked in the engine bay.

i just cut the wires that goes to the outside and wire by wire i have connected. i didn't cut all wires at same time !!! always one by one else there is a possibility to make mistakes and if you have to search for the mistake it's not easy.
