Glad to see progress made on this. Looks great man. When I read that you traded your integra for this, I figured the car would get stripped, and then you would just drop the project and sell the car off. Glad to see I was wrong in my assumption. Definitely curious to see how this one turns out.

Cutting it with a grinder and a cut wheel. I'd really like to get a plasma in the future.

Haha, I feel your pain man. Yesterday i was cutting a 1.5" square of aluminum stock with an ancient battery powered sawzall that died after 5 minutes and then had to use a hack saw for the rest.

I'd say I probably use my jigsaw, angle grinder, and drill more than any other tools.

you can download a fsm.. just google it. you might have to click a few different links but you should have no problem finding one. Which bearings? You're gonna need a micrometer and a good eye. It'd be a shame to rebuild something and ruin it because something wasn't in spec ya know?

So the plates you welded in the bay are just for aesthetic reasons right? Not being smart just wondering.

yes they are just for looks but i guess they could be for some strength since they are welded in.

I just traded my stock 1999 civic hatchback for a clean titled black 94 fd. Body in great shape, interior needs cleaning, and had single turbo conversion but turbo is blown. Lots of shaft play
