Love this build, so many awesome bits, but my favourite part has to be the wiring .

Thought it wouldn't hurt to slow down the oil trying to come up the neck on hard right hand turns... I should have done a half circle opening on the side blocked by the iron though like the IRP piece. Either way, venting both sides of block has worked wonderfully in the past with barely 2oz of oil in the catch can after 5 days on track.

If it's an issue with filling oil too slowly, I'll just take it out and open it up.

By the way, your build is one of my favorites!

You may be already answered this, but how did you come out with AN fitting from the stock Fuel Pump hanger ??

Did you weld Fitting on stock nipples or drilled and installed new fittings ??

Thanks..!!

Welded straight stainless AN fittings directly on the stock nipples. But I'm sure if you cut the nipple off you can also weld a 90 degree on the top of the hanger too.

Not much lately but just finished mounting up rest of my suspension and got her rolling around so I can drop the motor in on my next session.

In the meantime I ordered the full Banzai single belt pulley kit so I need to swap them in and also install the Pineapple idler pulley kit this week. Then mount the turbo and manifold, have the turbo water lines made, connect engine wiring harness, install the Exedy clutch, and finally drop this bitch in. Glad to say most of the big stuff is done, I'm down to a bunch of small things. Little by little with my busy life.

Can't sleep so I installed the new Banzai single belt pulleys and the Pineapple Racing "BT" idler pulley. Surprisingly the belt I chose with the idler kit worked perfect. For future reference my receipt says it's the 34.5" belt.

More pix of that engine dude.
What are you doing with the manifolds etc.. Think I need to go back and spend some time reading through some previous posts.

I got the normal version of the idler pulley and I noticed your alternator is about half way up the bracket while mine sits damn near the top in order for the belt to sit tight. I can't remember what size belt that came with it but it was supposed to be the one that fit.

Either way, I want to see more engine pics too!

Really digging that wiring setup. Very well done! I love how you labeled everything and...it's just really quality work.

Good folks over at Full Function Engineering launched another sweet product that I just HAD to have, a billet oil filter pedestal. Sick! Came with O-rings, nuts and a couple brass plugs. OEM oil line lined right up too. So now I have the FFE fuel rail, trigger kit, motor mounts and oil pedestal. For now I plugged up the ports, but might use one of them in the future. Gettin' ready to drop it in finally... should be tonight. I've already measured and cut the turbo water lines, just need to get them crimped. Once in I'll be finishing fuel lines, alternator power line and harness, EGT sensor and routing, etc...

Looks really nice. You might think about making a longer oil return line for the turbo. That one is awful close to the manifold runner even with heat sleeve.

Thank you!

All my turbo lines are teflon hose, no rubber. I've used that same line on my old track car with no issues... but I guess a heat sleeve wouldn't hurt either way.
