New Jersey Joe M's 20B Conversion
Whats up guys. My 20B build is in full effect and will be done by Feb. 1st hopefully, so as pictures come up of the process I will be posting them. So far I have some befores, and during the 13B tear down. I will be posting the 20B build up as it happens in the next couple of weeks. We are aiming to make some good power, but not sure on exact numbers yet. As I have no doubt learned on this forum, dont post unless you know. Enjoy and feel free to ask anything, but please refrain from attacks. I hope this thread can create good feedback and people who are interested in it can enjoy it, but I have no interest in attacks and hopefully mods will do their best to sort that out.

I do not have the money to track it like I think you mean......I cant pay for damages to it yet. It will be on the drag strip at least....Someday it will make it to the real track I hope.
It will be a show car next year in the NCCA circ, but I drive the car plenty.
Thanks for above.

Best of luck with the project, Jim is a super nice guy who seems to know his stuff. You're in my neck of the woods, I can't believe I've never seen your FD at a meet or rotorfest.

Kudos on the effort on the car. There are many parts on the car that many people would die for.
Although, I can't help but think the car would look so much cleaner with at least some paint on it. For example, Iforged's car looks pretty damn awesome with the 2 tone paint job. I've even seen pics of another Veilside Fortune FD with a single tone reddish champagne color and thought that looked stunning.
One thing's for certain, it looks better than Jay Laub's FD and is now going to be much faster.

Thanks for the compliments.
5 years in the making...buying things slowly brought us here. Jim and Tom at JPR, have sorted this car through everything. It has some paint on it now. Eventually, slowly I will be adding more paint to it. It is candied so you can see the carbon fiber through it. I like carbon a lot, a little too much. I know its weird...Interesting that people dont like the wing. PS. Jay Laubs car is still rediculous, he is the reason I bought an RX7 way back then, after I saw his in the tweeter magazine before it was widebody. He owns what has to be the most well known 7 around, I can only hope to be at its level someday.
Jim is taking over the 20B scene. Here is Tom's which I know he is trying to get into the 8s. I can only imagine what Jim's will do when he has time between working on all of our cars....

Drivetrain = built up already.
Cusco Rear diff, re-geared. KG parts 800hp axles. Wish list = Greddy Trans....
Also, I am not saying I will be dragging the car a lot, but once and a while hurts a lot less then taking the car to time attacks and track events. My goal is not to make it a regular at Atco, as I know what kinda of damage that can create. Again, I wish I could afford to do it....However a most of the carpet queens in the competitions have never seen the track, which is something I want to prevent.
A series....(I know)
Thanks for the gluck.

Good luck man...you'll be breaking drivetrain components for the next year and a half at the drag strip, and QUICKLY go through about $20,000 replacing and upgrading components... Track time is only wear and tear...much more manageable.
