Here is a task for you guys...

I am in search of a GASKET. On my Greddy T78, I need the gasket that goes from the turbo to the downpipe. I have a source in Japan that can get it at $35, but add $75 on top of that for shipping. Please PM me if you guys have one or know of one in the states.

call up Ari or Chris at Rotary Performance, they've always got a plethora of random gaskets on hand and they sell the greddy t78 turbo kit.

Still no luck on the gasket. The guys at HorsepowerFreaks said that they've seen some T4 sized turbos run WITHOUT that gasket. I kinda find that hard to believe so I am still going to do some researching.

Just in case you guys need the specs... It is the Greddy T78 Turbo to Downpipe gasket. Its overall dimension OD is 4.125" by 4.125". 4-bolt flange pattern. Alright, time to search..

Greddy USA does not have it anymore and Greddy Japan can get it. $40+$75 in shipping. $120 roughly. I want to find this in the U.S.A.!!!

Stay tuned for more!!!

Hey, not sure if you found the 4 bolt downpipe gasket yet. But I took my T78 out for a rebuild and its shot so I'm not putting it back on, and my new turbo will have a V-band outlet. I have the old 4 bolt gasket, its definitely not new but you could smear both sides of it with high temp exhaust gasket stuff and it would work fine. Let me know and I'll ship it over to you.

I also found the gasket new on Ebay for $99.

I purchased the turn signal adapters from Corksport.com for $26 a pair. Not bad at all and I received them within a day and a half after I purchased it. INCREDIBLE shipping, guys! And... I paid for just regular USPS priority. Do not forget that Corksport and Florida are on 2 opposite ends of the country. Very great service on an inexpensive item like that is impressive

Yes... MANY, MANY updates and pics... I decided to go with the Injector Dynamics 1000cc and 2,200cc injectors. These do not require the FJO injector driver OR stupid resistors.

Japan FINALLY cleared a shipment from radioactive saturation and I received my T78 GASKET from TURBO TO DOWNPIPE!!! WOo HOo!

I Finally bolted everything together on the turbo side and noticed that the exhaust section hits the chamber on the stock intake manifold. No Problem. A BIG Milwuakee Grinder and it looks as if it were CAST WITHOUT anything. Just straight runners. I am trying to source some Alodine and I will coat the intake manifolds and finish putting everything back together.

I will post up a new mod list as of today.

Because some of the items were originally purchased for a SMALL build with modified twins like BNR's. And then I found a really good deal on the T78 kit. And to run that, you need enough fuel, then spark. And now you have clutch issues so go with Exedy Twin disk every time! And then you need cooling, and this and that and one thing led to another. You know how it goes. I am also starting to find parts for my Fairlady Z... She is next as soon as the 7 is running..

And as far as the Greddy Turbo oil supply lines... Jason sent me a generic -6 line for any turbo. That will be sufficient and work fine. Well, I have some REAL good friends at SP Engineering. These guys are the gods of the import world. They basically started it all in North America as far as parts distribution is concerned. TRUST ME. So, after I received the generic oil line from Jason, I called the guys at SP. They contacted Greddy Japan and sourced the last 2 lines in North America SPECIFICALLY FOR THE T78. Call me an ****, PICKY BUILDER... But guess what?? It is MY car and I want this build to be one of my FINEST. I have an extensive list of builds starting out with nissan 240sx's and go all the way up to brand new Porsche GT3 RS-R's, etc. This is MY personal car that I have worked very hard for. Five years of ownership, not one SINGLE drive in it. Never rolled the wheels unless I was pushing her. Let's just say that I am a lil excited...

New update. I dropped off my intake manifolds and water pump housing to get ceramic coated. This will also give it a nice, shiny chrome-like finish.

Since nobody sells a real good mil-spec engine harness anymore, I decided to build my own. I purchased the pins and plugs from AekaGSR and sourced the appropriate military grade wiring. I mean, come on, I wire up military components for the space center, this was a snap. So I am almost finished with the harness and I will have pics real soon. I promise guys. Thanks!

I just picked up the intake manifolds from the ceramic shop. These things look SICK. Pics tonight, I hope. I have work to perform...

Oh, short story, I have been up since 5am. A REALLY pretty female friend called me in distress as her Honda broke down. This was in the middle of nowhere. 18 year old girl in a party dress with 2 hot friends. After a couple hours, I got her up and running again. Just some of the perks of being an ex pro racecar mechanic . Verrrry nice.
