Small Update:

Got everything figured out only to find out that I didn't get everything figured out haha. I'm an idiot..because I now have about 70 dollars worth of brand new -6 AN fittings that I don't need. I'd always thing I may end up needing a certain one.. to find out I don't. I guess they're good spares.. dunno wtf for though haha

So here's some pics:

2 regular 90's just wouldn't fit

So I had to improvise
Hardline to the rescue...
......I ended up using a super tight 90 swivel'd -6An fitting and made a hardline to go from my Secondary Full Function Engineering rail to the Aeromotive FPR.

a little scotch brite never hurt no one..

at first I was worried it sat a little too close to the turbo..but i'm gonna fire sleeve it eventually

and just becuase I love pictures.. this has been my little work bench lately... I love pics of parts

hmm.. you know what.. I'll have to try and find which one I used. I didn't really look at the pitch or size. I just held the tap up to the plug and matched it.. then went to work. I'll see if I can get the exact size. I can tell you that the tap tapered quite a bit.. and close to the plug flat/flange it was really hard to tighten. But I like things like that..because I know they're in there good. A little thread sealer and tightened them down real good. Still will need to check for boost leaks when the car is running but i'm pretty confident they're sealed and not going anywhere

You are cheating using aluminum tubing, real men use stainless.

Is there any way you can route the fuel hardline to go to the other side of the FPR so it does not stick out like that. Maybe it will look a bit cleaner? I have the same ugly lines sticking out by my FPR as well, I want to make some nice hardlines to really clean up that area.

P.S. If you are not using the air pump mount for support for your turbo; please cut that ugly **** off!

I wouldn't classify it as cheating.....just smart. There's no need to use S/S for this line... It looks great, is easy to work with and is soft enough to actually seal itself when tightened down I like the way it came out. I thought of having the line go to the other side but it's really not that big of a deal to me.

That's what I like about the aluminum, I always feel better about it sealing when I tighten it, my stainless ones don't leak, but it doesn't feel the same when they go together.

Well that M18x1.5 that I picked up looks kinda like this...

http://m.grainger.com/mobile/details/?R=5MUE4

...but I think the base of it is even bigger, so I may need to grind that part down in order to fit all the way into the hole. I may just run to ACE tomorrow and see what they have. I'll get it figured out, don't worry about it. Thanks though! I agree with you though, I like the feeling of added security and not having to worry about them sealing. I think you'll be alright, it looks like it's gonna seal pretty well.

I was wondering why you didn't just use SS line to make that fuel line. That seems to be how most of the kits are made. I do like that aluminum tubing, but the only inconvenience (not enough to be a problem lol) I can see is if you have to raise the UIM just a bit to reach under there and do something, not needing to remove it completely...you'd be able to do that with an SS line but not this. Just a thought.

the alum is actually really malleable. don't know if I spelled that right.. but whatever. If i was at all worried about messing the ling up i'd simply unbolt the FPR and that would be the only thing holding the manifold on

^ well let me know if you need anything, I have a whole heap load of them haha.

Anyways, A little update.

Purchased a good ol HP 1008 K & N oil filter with a hex nut on top...which is convienient =-)
Put a little Assembly lube on it..

Also got a Belt for my Power E-shaft/Power steering..but instantly noticed a problem
When I put a descent amount of tension on it..it would start to flex the PS pump away from the actual custom bracket plate I made. I put a hefty amount of tension on it with the adjustment pulley.. but I just would rather it be a little more sturdy. So I found some scrap aluminum and got to work.

A little rough trimming...

Looks pretty good

I forgot to wire wheel off some of the paint so the weld looks a little dirty where there was paint. But...Had BJ Do his thing... and Whaalaah!:
amazing what someone can do it less than a min.. I need to learn how to weld like this!!

forgot to take a pic but hit the whole thing with a little bit of scotch brite to get rid of my red sharpie marks on the bracket. But It works... it now sits on the motor and can take a whole lot of tension before twisting at all. Lines up well too! i'm happy how it came out =-)

It is the camera angle or is the entire bracket setup tilted? It looks like the pump is not level.

Also, forgot to add:

I got a nice condition Body harness i'll be using in it's oem Location with the exception of a couple re-locations. I just kind of gave up with my existing harness for the reason that someone else had previously gone through the harness before I owned the car. It was a mess and I'd rather start nice and fresh. But I got a great deal on it and some OEM coils. I'm going to be making a little relocation bracket for the coils to sit on the drivers side frame rail in front and in back, on the little shelve looking indents by the shock tower. I need to leave room for my Dual oil cooler lines and Power steering so this needs to be clean enough not to get in the way. There just isn't enough space on top of the motor with the Oil filler neck where it is etc.

I love my car. I may be painting the engine bay soon.
Probly going to by fluids this next week, and some tranny fluid. A couple spare parts here and there such as another starter, igniter, coils, and alternator as well just for back-ups. You just never know haha. But the alternator checked out ok at autozone, so thats good. Realistically All I really need is my Radiator and Intercooler done for start up. And If I wanted to just fire her up.. all I need is my Radiator really.

I'm getting close.. but I still need to do a lot of work, and there are a few parts I' really would like to purchase before I get the car on the road. One being the new Banzai Transmission Brace, and the Tweak-it Racing Differential/ppf brace. They both look like Excellent additions to anyone's track going Fd.
Got my Full Function Engineering Rails all figured out and lined up. They just have one hell of a nice product, and I'm glad I waited for them instead of going with typical Kg rails. Nothing wrong with KG parts.. I just feel like I made a better purchase with the FFE rails/parts. Aaron is a great guy, and is right there everytime I have a question for him.

And because I love my car

Correct, we tilted the whole unit about 4 degrees just so the reservoir cap could be reached without any hassle :-)

^yes sir I'll be running my oem brakes until I feel like they're seriously impeding my driving.

little upate:

Major progress being delayed... because the manifold isn't done yet, Need to order another IC and Radiator and take them to have the tanks modded for v-mount config.

Had to jump through hoops to get my wheels. 2 and a half months later... I got a call from fed ex at the customs and had to fill out DOT forms for the wheels since they aren't sold in the US.

and one more

And finally 3 days after I faxed it back to them..
Whaaalaahh... Straight from Driftworks in the UK. Brand new Rota GTR-D's 18x12 +20 Rears

Have some new tires on order but decided to use the old set of Nitto Invo's I had laying around... can't let old tires go to waste...
even though they're 245/45/18.. the sidewalls didnt look too bad. ANd it's by far the most i've ever stretched a tire on a rim..but whatever. The bead set nice and sturdy and Nitto makes a good tire. I'm sure not everyone will agree...but I really just don't care what people think at this point. Also on average most 12 in wheels weigh in around 22-26 lbs each. I weighed these babies on a dynamic scale and both weighed in at 24.6 each without tires. I'm happy with them. I'll be Powder coating the whole set when the front's come in (18x9.5 +15) I have a day to decide whether or not to go with a 10 in wheels so if someone can convince me otherwise.. i'll go with the 9.5. I just don't want any rubbing issues. =-)
on to pics
Drove my pops truck to tire express..

I immediately asked them to use the cheetah because there was just no way in hell. THey tried it three times with the wheel up-right and despite me asking them to place the wheel on the ground.. they didnt.. and the tire failed to inflate.. both times. Finally a more experienced guy came out and he laid it on the ground. propped the tire up evenly with some chalks and actually held the cheetah in there when he pulled the lever so it worked out. I'll most likely take every wheel to this one guy at tire express. Mounted for 20 bucks. Hopefully he starts lowering the price more and more as I bring him more and more tires haha. Lets see if my photobucket video of it loads correctly. p.s. I love photobucket waaayyy better than flikr =-)
Video

Whaalaaa

Now to figure out what color I want to powder coat them!! I have a couple Ideas.. Lets just say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

Also decided to cut my hair.. it was just wayyy too much maintenance. So I shaved it into a good ol America hell ya dread hawk.. I'm officially the Whitest trashiest black guy you'll ever see.. lol jkjk.. Anyways...

Also there was a local drift event that I really wanted to drive in..but my car was no where near being functional. So I just helped them set up. It was a lot of fun. We set up on thursday, and got there early sat and sunday to get started. IT was a charity event with ride alongs/donations for a charity.. I got to meet some pretty cool dudes. Met Martin Muench from Parts shop max and got to talk to him about his EGT set up in his car.. and after I saw it in action and out on the track...I was convinced to purchase the same kit. Ordered today! Not the cheapest but well worth it in the long run. Plus it was one of the only kits that didn't have Huge bulky displays. Nice and simple. I'll take pics when it comes in. Also met Bruce Kress and got to see him drive the whole weekend. Good dude...must've raised some serious funds taking people on ride alongs in his car. He should feel good about himself though. The charity sure appreciated it.
Some pics
My buddy Mickie Frials s13..fresh out of paint!

Line to stage

2j Sc300 ..this car's been running so strong for the past few years... crazy.. Unbreakable!

I think this guy was in charge of Parts Shop Max in San Diego... the car was immaculate.. he took his little boy out aged 4-5 years old ..onto the drift course. Had a specially made Recaro Child Safety Seat for him. Kinda rad! the car was def a killer
