It basically reduces fuel starvation from cornering and accelerating hard enough on a low gas tank. In a stock tank you can get starvation at around 5/8 tank if you corner hard enough.

Laid out the body harness so that me and my buddy matt can start cutting and extending necessary wires to the engine bay etc. Almost all the relays and fuse boxes will be behind my drivers seat in the rear bin.
But this is much better than what it was like... i'll try to find the before and after...
found one kinda.. before
After...bad comparison but whatever
and as she sits right now...
My wire code key for the body harness...believe it or not it really helps when i'm unsure of what wire goes to what etc.. Helpful when you need to delete something unecessary. and..My list of to do's and parts to purchase etc.... kinda discouraging to look at sometimes...

I wonder if you could dye the carpet black, at least it would save you some money and shipping time.
I like that Hyperion anti-surge kit too, I think I'm gonna have to jump on that myself haha.

Yea I've been thinking of dying it.... Hopefully theres some sort of spray on thats of descent quality. But I just don't want to pull the whole dash right now. I'll eventually pull it in the next year or so for my cage but right now it would be kind of like taking one step forward...and 2 steps back. And one thing is I really don't want a gross wet black mess puddling up the bottom of my car ya know. I'll have to do my homework and really check out some user reviews if I go the dying route. More updates to come.

Yeah I hear that, I don't ever want to pull my dash either, but I'm gonna have to haha. If you replace the carpet you'll be going through the same work though, right? And the good thing is, if it doesn't work it's not like you're losing anything because NO ONE wants the tan carpet apparently haha.

I think staticguitar13 did a detailed diy tan to black conversion in the int/ext forum
edit: found it - https://www.rx7club.com/interior-exterior-audio-26/definitive-tan-black-fd-interior-thread-823903/
2nd edit - no carpet conversion in the thread. ****.

I bought my car and it had black carpet installed on top of the tan carpet. When I realized it I wished they had removed the tan first but after thinking about it I figured it probably helps with sound deadening and it really doesn't add much extra weight at all. I am also interested in more info on the dual Bosch and surge tank setup as I am still deciding on the best fuel setup. You're project is going in a great direction man keep it up.

Wicked build man
Are those Origin-Lab 50mm rears? Ronin Speedworks is coming out with a new full rear fender cover next year, but I don't know if you want to wait that long as its still in the mold stage.
Just picked up the same fuel pump assembly, I have to agree that its an amazing piece of work

A few old ones in my build thread
One of my fronts survived the wheel hitting it at speed, it was not pretty but the fender was patched and you cant tell. Unfortunately I dont have pics and the whole kit was sold a while back. They were a lot better then I expected in quality and fitment.

I'm interested in seeing how the fuse box relocation turns out. I'm in the middle of spray sound deadening my interior right now, and I am contemplating relocating the fuse boxes to the driver rear bin while I have everything out of the way. Particularly, what gauge wire you use, how much of it and your process. I figure most are within the 18-22 gauge range, with a couple of like 14-16 gauges peppered in.
Build is coming along awesome!

***DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE ON -AN FITTINGS***
-AN fittings seal by mating the male and female flare surfaces, NOT by their threads. Using Teflon tape is a great way to blow your engine by clogging an injector with the excessive tape overlap on the flare... Fix it asap mang
