Thank you very much. Greatly appreciated!
What's up Tim? Glad you're getting back into another FD. Love these cars! Family is good...my lil one is gonna be 1 in a couple of weeks. Don't know where the year went. Anyways, hope all is well bud. Take care!

Still haven't decided if I'm keeping my Ohlins or try running my rebuilt Garage Revolution coilovers (16K Swift springs swapped out for 10K)

Finally getting around to swapping all rear bushings.
Thanks to J Auto for the fast shipment on my OEM dust boots and Powerflex bushings. My buddy cleaned up my lower arms after pressing in the new bushings. Rear uppers coming off this weekend, then the dreaded Diff bushings.
Haven't driven the FD for a while, so took it out to Disney Concert Hall before yanking all the suspension off. Nice to just DRIVE when your mind is heavy with thoughts.

Testing out Flickr
Hopefully everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday and picked up some rad parts during Black Friday / Cyber Monday.
Replaced Shine Auto wing with Feed Afflux (top painted Brilliant Black w/ exposed carbon underside). Fitment on the Shine Wing was the same as the Feed Wing btw. Shine parts are quality so don’t sleep on their products.
Finally installed my Zoom Engineering Monaco mirror (I call it the whale ***** mirror).
Swapping out to less aggressive Prodrive GC-06 so I can fit Toyo R888s for track duty. It’s still funny to me when asked why I choose Prodrives for my cars. They’re classic designs, forged/light weight/strong, made by Ray’s, and you won’t see them on every IG car.
Lastly, the HKS vmount, Midpipe, and Power FC (+Tune) are finally installed. Really want to give props to Yoshi at Neptune Speed / Garage RX in Huntington Beach, CA. He did a great job as always with the install.
Hoping Will at Lucky7 Racing in Duarte, CA can help fab up AC lines for my RX8 condenser.
Long overdue update, but that’s all for now. Waiting to test the new set up at track day in the near future.

Quick update to keep the thread alive.
Going back to my Ohlins PCV set up so Revolution coilovers are back up for sale. They proved to be an excellent track set up, but a bit much for my mostly street driven FD.
Tried out Purol 20W50 and it's working great on/off track.
Need to make some room in the bay so looking to relocate battery to spare area.
Last track day at Buttonwillow was so much fun! Hello Han! (if you're even on here...nice meeting you man!) The car ran to max 102* temp and only issue for the day was a worm clamp popping loose and spraying oil in the bay. Menzerna products did a great job at erasing that mess and shining up the paint again.
Lastly, not for everyone, but I'm digging my new seat set up. Need a proper harness bar now.

Forgot about this thread, Nice update! Yoshi is the man for sure. I’m glad to hear those seats are working out. And I want to track my car soon, I just need to get my custom under tray back on and fix a few other little things.

Hahahah me too! Let me know when you get out to a track day! I’d def be up to meeting some more rotary heads.

The Lotus seats fit without issue and gave me an additional 1.5" or so of headroom. Plenty of clearance on the sides and do not touch our door panels or transmission tunnel. Initially when you sit on the seats, it feels like you have no cushion. However, these seats are quite comfortable. I have a history of lower back pains, but can sit in these for 2 hours without issue. I think Lotus really put some effort into the ergonomics of these shells and Probax cushions.

Yoshi moved my Braille to the spare area inside the trunk and installed a circuit breaker for quick disconnect. I really like the functionality of the circuit breaker. Makes life a whole lot easier when you need to work on anything electrical or you want to have a "kill" switch while your car is parked.
Finally installed the last pieces of my Super Pro bushings for the Diff Brace. Yoshi also upgraded his LSD to the OS Giken Superlock, so I got the opportunity to take over his Mazdaspeed LSD.
Lastly, if you run Power FC, I feel like this is a game changer. Forum member @ds2qwd (Ryan) from Seoul, Korea created an APP + Blue Tooth cable to sync with our Power Commanders.

I was always bothered by the "cord" and placement of the Commander because they always sit too low. Ryan's solution made sense because I can use an Android device with my RAM mount and place it right next to my gauges. The screen emulates the Power Commander without taking away the functionality of the Power Commander. Now, I can tuck it away in the glove and have the readings where I can safely monitor them on track. He also added a shift feature that tells you which gear you're in, a 0-60 timer, and some other cool bits. I'm sure there'll be updates as he moves along. I suggested creating an Audible sound when the car reaches any preset max or have the screen flash at you like some of the other stand alone gauges. Hopefully, Ryan can make it happen! Great seller and easy person to deal with so best of luck to him!
A few more things to follow before Sevenstock this year (I still haven't been to one even though I'm 30mins away)
Decided to stay on the Garage Revolution because they were just so darn good on track. I think it speaks for itself considering I was debating between Ohlins (top notch products). The Ohlins went to a new member @Talon22 (Anthony) so I hope he enjoys them like I did. Good luck on the build bud!
