I didn't show your car off to anyone. Your car was parked at my shop & if someone comes over they look the cars.

It's not like I gave your keys out & told people come look at this car. I'm sure you have looked at people's cars when you were in a shop no?!

regardless of what you may think or know about my car its got its purpose .and for me it works wonders at what I want it for. and I would pit my cursed paintless Frankenstein of a car VS yours or any of your friends at a track .

You talk about money .. but its true I'm not as well off as some of you guys . and My car may not be as pretty .. But I can guarantee I enjoy my car more then most of you guys do .

I'm out at a track every couple of weeks.

I love this car But I would rather waste 1200 on a new set of sticky tires . then on a paintjob

why dont you join me one of these days and see what I'm on about

There is no way to truly fix the leak , i've already called the company who made the sunroof and they are prettymuch out of the car sunroof making biz .

So I cant get the Gaskets . and to be honest its not even any good .

no when it rains it still leaks if I dont put some kind of cover.

All i did was confirm where the leak was comming from .

Tem120,

What is your problem dude? It seems like you have personal beef with someone and all you wish is to bash them on here. Cut that crap out bro. If you have beef, handle it elsewhere. Pick up the phone and verbally duke it out. Leave the build threads to the building. I think I already mentioned this in another build threat.

I'm here for rotory enthusiasm just as everyone else is. Please please please keep your bickering off of here. I understand that someone might have F'd up but you should understand that everyone screws up. Handling it accordinly is key.

Back to the build?

I just noticed this .. Seriously I paid for a month of parking at the lot and never told them you would pay the balance I paid the balance so if you were charged .. You really need to get your money back

My second Best Run from last event . car's alignment is messed up as I learned

my best run unfortunately I messed up and didn't record But oh well .

Guys at the start were all curious about what engine I had at first they thought it was a V8 lol .

Still alot of fun . and definitely getting more confidence in the car as I'm matching some people that were beating me last year .

Still a long way to go though ... Also . I turned the boost down for this event .

Dliverance 02-08-14 12:58 PM

I need to get some tires so I can chop your time to bits lol.

After the last auto x the car wasnt behaving like I remembered it and it was pulling to a side sooo off to Apex Alignment I went. Best alignment shop in fl in my opinion, Owner is a road racer and autox er so you get to work with someone who knows his stuff and great person at that

some updates not the good kind unfortunately , Trans took a poop on me on wed , would not go into reverse . So took the car to a shop I know that rebuilds FD trans . decided to go with that rather then another used trans .. as I'm tired of picking up other people's mistakes .

These are sports cars and get abused so do the trannies , and if the owner does not care for the synchros

things well end up badly .. so off it goes honestly i was somewhat pissed haha so didnt bother with pictures . But we'll see Supposed to pick it up tomorrow .

tt7hvn 03-07-14 11:51 AM

trans is one of those things that (especially if you autox) not if, but when.

like you, I'd prefer to get my tranny rebuilt than buying a used one even though they are a dime a dozen.

good job on the car though...the green wheels kinda grew on me, I like them. I def like the addition of the 99 spoiler, I've always thought it makes the car look better

would you mind posting your sizes and offsets? I like the way the sit on the car.

yes sure I like the way the rears sit , they are 17x9.5 20 offset , the fronts are 17x9 25 offset I used the wheel size calculator , with the fenders unrolled the fronts were rubbing , but after I rolled the fenders now the fronts have about an inch that they are sunken in , I plan to get another pair of 17x9.5's and put them up front to run a square setup When it comes time I'm gonna swap my rears forward forward for a day and see if they rub

Tem120 03-12-14 08:13 AM

Got the car back ! Trans is perfect . Glad I went this route vs a JDM trans it was bit more pricy but i think well worth it!

shifts are so much smoother all the gears go in so crisp i dont know if its the difference between the royal purple and the junk that was in there before but trans and owner are both very happy .

Found the Last hose to Complete my Dual oil cooler setup . Plan is to get it installed and Fix that GAP in the front bumper thats been driving me crazy for the last few months .

I wanna get it done before the next autox event to see if I see a difference in temps .

Finally GOt around to starting the dual oil cooler install

Attachment 648741

started with draining the oil , removing the bumper , removing anything that might get in the way .

Unfortunately I under estimated this . THe Oil cooler hose that needed to be replaced would not fit between the hardline , so I had to remove the powersteering , and ac compressor .in order to loosen it also went ahead and loosened that hard line from the Oil cooler pedestal since it was leaking oil from there

sanded down the crush washers so they would lose their grove , and heated them up so they would expand and be reusable.

I know generally you would get new ones . but this little trick works well .
