Lol thanks guys, what pals -_-
today was the reality day. There's no way I'm going to finish everything I wanted to have done for DGRR. I'm gonna have to start axing some projects as time is not my friend again lol. Also being closed to work on the car is expensive and has drained all my savings. Gonna have to start producing products again to pay for this POS turd......... haha time to disappear for a few weeks and see what I can cook up......

Man, why does DGRR always seem to sneak up on me.
So far I spent 26 working in the past 2 days. really focusing on getting the car ready so updates will be sporadic, Follow me on Instagram for the most up to date progress: Bubbletechllc
Some pics of the progress of the cage. This is my first and last cage haha. So far I'm very pleased with how its turning out. 100% street-able. My A-Pillar bars are high enough where my head cannot touch it, the door bars give me ample room for my arm and elbow to rest comfortably inside. Also the cage sits very tight IMO. Lets hope it's not too tight that it will give me problems getting access to make full welds =/ !
Still need to add the windshield bar, additional vertical bar for the door bars, harness bar, and triangulate the roof to a-pillars on the roof side

I've been subscribed to your thread and lurking since the beginning, and it's always - if not more - interesting every time. The amount of dedication and time you put in is unreal and a big inspiration, especially to try a DIY method.
Keep it up, you will get there soon. Where there is, I don't think anyone knows. But I'm subscribed for the ride anyways.

^^ Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot coming from a senior member of the forum!
Some progress of the various projects I keep jumping between.... I have a terrible attention span working on just one project lolol. I wonder how many projects I can start before I finish one... -_-
PS, I've thrown in the towel of **attempting** to get the car done by DGRR. There's just too many things that I've been nit picking and so many things coming up that it would just be too draining and exhausting to attempt. On top of that I haven't been working trying to get the car a jump start and, well, I depleted my funds so time to whip up some parts! I'll be on a trip til Tues then back to some production runs of items have been out of stock (map lids/door panels)
Pics:
Prototype fender flare to help me get a better visual since I can't draw, hahah. Revisions are already in the works. Also the front bumper is getting extended as well.
Started messing around with the hood. This "process" I attempted was a fail. It would rely too much on a free hand sculpt -- In my mind, not accurate enough. I'll be redoing this with the same technique I use on the fender flares/wing -- A inner rib cage system to give me reference points and edges to sculpt off of.
Blank Dash/Trans tunnel cover in the works. Time to invest some stocks on body filler!

I saw you instagram post, so sorry to hear about the fire. You must be heartbroken.
I was really digging what you were doing and the willingness to experiment.
I hope your back on your feet soon.

that really sucks, benny.
my first rx7 (87 turbo2) burnt to the ground, wayyy back when i was a freshman in college. it was one of the worst things ever. i can't imagine ALL of my stuff (and friends'/customers' stuff, from the looks of it) going up in flames.
i'll send a small donation next week to the YouCaring account. i think others should too.

I think "Bubble Tech" shows as banned because it stopped being a paid vendor. The forum software needs to "ban" the user in order to de-activate the vendor account. Kinda dumb but whatever.
muibubbles is still around and posting. Both here and on FB.
