crazy colour scheme cool.

You thinking about getting an idler pulley though, i highly recommend it. The larger pulley does work ok and prevent slippage for some time but the grooves in it over time wear out.

Adding an idler pulley also allows you to purchase a standard belt off the shelf too

U have to be careful not to go overboard with a color like that... Sometimes being more subtle with a color makes it stand out even more. Pink is a great color against black.

hahah thanks... like i said the pink is deffinately a love it or hate it... gold was done to all the suspension when i first stripped it, but its too subtle for me...

thanks! yeah i was considering the lsx when i first bought the car... i kinda backed out because i wasnt mechanically inclined enough to pursue it, and initially it costed more then i thought it would.. gotta remember, i learned EVERYTHING i know from taking the 7 apart and putting it back together... now i feel comfortable working on cars... so if i had what i knew back then, id be more willing to do it... but i do wanna make an lsx fc in the future!

ps faded i remember u off the v8rx7forums as well... you were like one of the beginning inspirations to my car... im pretty sure u were the reason i bought a sandblaster hahaha... and you have the like candy/metalic blue powdercoated stuff right??? hows ur car going? that **** was CLEAN.

haha, like i keep complaining, the pictures really dont do justice... with the flash on it looks gay and "babyish/pastel" pastel looking... but in person its flourencent. its pretty ganster. im hoping to be able to make it to the carlisi meet so maybe after people see it in person they can back me up on the fruitiness either way i like it!

yeah im definitely aware of that... my problem is pretty much everything in the bay is black so only the pink stuff pops which makes it look kinda wierd? as far as what im powdercoating, its the typical stuff everyone paints their "color scheme"
IC piping
greddy elbow
pullies
torque brace
turbo
UIM

anything else that is powder coated it either mirror black or reflective chrome... and some gold here and there lol...

yeah i was toying with the idea... what color were u thinking? i know for my car specifically black would be the only color to work... may give it a try, but off the top of my head it looks tedious...

I was thinking either pink to stick with the theme, would look good over the black couplers. Or the mirror black finish would be cool.

Maybe switch to all T-bolt clamps as well, they look better regardless, and also probably easier to power coat, and more durable afterwards (with the normal hose clamps the screw mechanism would probably scrape off a good deal of the coating on the first installation.
