Another FD Build Down Under JDM
#101
A bit of an update - have been doing a little this week on getting it back together.
Started putting in the carpet
Got my interior back from the trimmers. I am in the process of putting the dash back together. Here is a pic of the interior placed together.
The dash will hopefully go in the car tomorrow so I can post more pics when it's actually in!

It's been a while since I've posted but I thought I'd post a bit of an update.
The last thing I started focusing on was the interior and decided to go down the Alcantara route. I've always loved the look and feel of Alcantara. The aim was to keep the interior sporty but elegant.
A couple of snaps of the interior in the car
A few other additions to a never-ending saga. I replaced the steering wheel with a SAAS Alcantara to suit better with the new interior. The battery is now in the trunk and need to focus on tidying up the wiring and make some panels to hide the ugly stuff.
I'm heading overseas in the next 2 weeks but when I return I am hoping to do some more work to get it closer to a 'finished project'.
Things I'm doing when I get back:
Mechanical
- New ECU and full re-wire
- New Clutch
- Custom Panels in the engine bay to hide some of the ugly bits
- Tune
Currently, I'm running 500rwhp. I'm hoping with the new ECU and more boost we can crack the 550rwhp
Interior
- Wrap the rest in Alcantara
- Retrim the bride seats in red leather & Alcantara (inspired by Ferrari's 458 style)
Body
- Fix up paint defects from previous respray issues
- New front bumper with carbon lip
- A few CF add ons
Once this is done, i'm pretty done and will enjoy it. The goal is to take it to some track days and 1/4mile to see what it runs
