Just curious, did you pull the seal from around the windshield for the paint? If so, how do you reinstall it without having to remove the windscreen?

My painter has his window specialist who does all of that so I wouldn't know sorry.

A quick update

Have a few photos of the car partially assembled. I got the back car and will try get some photos this weekend. The paint is fresh off the gun and still needs to get buffed and polished!

Will do! My friend has similar ones in his FD and they suit quite nicely!

Loving the white flake, I did my FD in a silver flake but much bigger. They always get appreciated no matter what paint trend is around at the time

Hi guys...

A bit of an update...

I managed to find some time to install my Project Mu Brakes! I don't have any photos yet but will get some soon enough. I also managed to paint my callipers Red while I was down there!

I took it for a drive yesterday after the car sitting for a few weeks and the unfortunate happened... at about 4.5krpm my motor let go... it was heart breaking to think your so close then this happens!

Nonetheless, I am now going ahead with a full rebuild... details will come soon enough! It's going into the workshop on Wednesday to start tearing down the engine and respray the engine bay...

Engine Plans

So after a compression test for the engine, the rear housing lost compression (yayy...)

The engine is being pulled out... these are the plans...

- New housings
- New Rotors
- Balanced
- Everything Machined
- PTS Apex Seals
- Dowelled
- Street Port

I will put up some photos when the engine has been pulled apart...

Update!

It's been a little while guys... for the past 4 weeks the engine was being build!

After the engine was taken apart, we found that the cause of the blown motor is due to finding a 8mm socket inside that done some damage! (My error... it was me) unfortunately a costly mistake... but nonetheless, has resulted in better things.
