Update:
We had a chance to do some break-in boost tuning on the dyno today. She put down 510rwhp and 424 TQ @ 12 psi with a very conservative tune. This was done on a Mustang dyno with 93 pump gas
We will get a few more miles on it and bring the boost up some more, as well as lean it out a bunch.

That is a mountain of a power curve - nice work.
I honestly don't know how anyone can handle more than 500 rwhp in an FD, except at a dragstrip. Are you running a stock trans? Isn't it going to break? Have you considered a "dog box" racing transmission?

We build 500+ hp cars all the time. The stock trans can hold up pretty well until after 600hp, when the torque exceeds 600 they break often. This one is freshly built and is holding up fine for now.
500rwhp is a very nice "streetable" power level as long as the suspension, tires, brakes, etc have all been addressed. We have taken care of all those areas with this car, so it is super easy to drive and a ton of fun.

The FD chassis should have had a factory option for the 20B but without, it makes installations like this very special. And you have built a special car.. I would keep the stock hood; it makes it that much more integrated.
Regarding the belt contact patch on the water pump pulley - expect any slippage issues?

Sorry no vids, we will get some the next time it is on the dyno. I didn't even think about it.
We plan on keeping the stock hood. We have also added an idler pulley since the last pics, so there would be no belt issues.

wow nice! Hey I got a dumb question...
How come you never see 3 rotors with GT35Rs? You know quick spooling but smaller turbos. Are they not achieavable for some reason?
The reason this came about is because I was discussing with a friend a fantasy life where I would wouldn't want a HP monster (600+ RWHP). Instead I would opt for the quickest spool possible, and be perfectly happy a 3 rotor at a modest boost level.

I'm guessing this is a ~$35k upgrade with big brake kit, suspension, and beefed up transmission, isn't that about what Pettit charges? That said, you would have endless fun hunting down 911TT and Ferraris with this thing....I just saw a Ferrari yesterday with a custom plate that read "ANY?NOW". That guy needed to be humbled.

Ryan, you need to come down for a visit. Bring the FD this time and we can retune it to 400rwhp.
