So I know this has happened to many people and I dont see why shippers MUST BE SO NEGLECTFULL...

I bought a pair of S5 tails from Villin, I got a killer deal 65.00 shipped and 10.00 shipped for the center section.. he told me that the lights were seperating because the silicone has come loose and they will need to be pulled apart and reset BUT THE TAILS HAD NO CRACKS ANYWHERE..

So I paid him promptly for the tails a week later (or very close to it) he shipped them out I ended up getting them and to my disapointment I opened the box and the first thing I saw was a taillight in a box with no packing paper. I opened the other box and saw the EXACT SAME THING.. two tails, two boxes no packing paper.

So I pulled them out and sure enough both tails were damaged. I found a piece in one box but nothing in the other box which makes me think that maybe there was little chips taken out of them before they were shipped... if this is the case I was mislead and thats not cool...

I contacted villin. He stated his friend shipped them out for him and that he would refend me my money.

I requested only 45.00 of the 65.00 (I dont want him to give me back the shipping charges)

Currently I am awaiting the refund AND the center section... I paid for the center section back on tuesday o wednesday and he said he will ship it out (this comming tuesday) however he did not tell me that untill I pm'ed him about the expected time and he said he has not shipped it yet due to a leaky water pump on his 7

I am leaving this as a TO BE CONTINUED.. I will update with the results of the refund and of me receiving a flawless center section from him as well..

btw I took pic of the tails.. since the lenses are broken I decided to tare them apart and I will just buy new lenses and put them in their place.. (about an extra 100.00 or so in lenses)

looks like someone was trying to pull them away from the silicone with a screwdriver or something and made those chips...

Your 1st mistake was not asking for pictures.

The seller, needs to get his act together also. You don't ship fragile items like that. That statement that he had his "Friend" ship them out is getting old also.
If you are going to sell something then take "Full Responsibility" for the whole transaction.

 

I cant remember but I thought I had asked for pictures however I cant remember and you kno what it does appear that maybe somone was trying to pull them apart and they chipped them.. Like I said he had mentioned the that silicone was comming off and would have to be done so maybe that is what he was trying to do and thats how he chipped them..

Maybe the chips were accidental in shipping I have no way to know all I know is that is how they were received and I was a bit upset.

He said he would refend me tonight I will update this thread with any other info

 

Just an update. I have contacted Villin twice in the last 48 hours about when I will receive my refund (he told me I would have it Sunday night), and when the center section I paid for will ship out.

He has been online numerous times since (even up to 10pm last night) and he will not respond to my pm's...

I hope he does not flake out now after being so nice and up front with me (or so it seemed) up till now.

Well I have been waiting patiently for a reply and I woke up today to this in my pm box



"Ok here it is. I have 19 dollars to my name until my next paycheck. I don't care if you believe me or not but it is the truth. I have had alot of **** going on in my life but its no excuse either. Do I intend on paying you back, yes I do.Will it be immedietly, no. I just don't have the money. I had it Sunday night but I had a late post to my account and it put me under 30 dollars. So I need to work on the way I sell things and my approach to how I handle my screw ups. Trying to let it blow over not only hurts my reputaion but also hurts you as a buyer. Well he has not logged in since 9-8-07 I hope this dont mean he is skipping town!

 

I don't get how someone can't come up with $45.00.... What happened to the money you paid him? Not to mention the center section

"Look I have told you before I do not have it. My next paycheck is the 26 of this month. I have all my bills paid for so I will then paypal your money to you. I told you before I fucked up and am tryiing to fix it but if you have an investigation through paypal it wont touch me. The account is in my fiances name with her card. I am nowhere on that account so processing a investigtion through paypal means you are dragging her into this and then we will have a problem. You will get your money Dave but if you can't wait another week then I seriously don't know what to tell you. If you still have a problem call me at 352-555-5555. This is not a bullshit number it is my cell phone."




SO I REPLIED

"You were supose to paypal me this last weekend.. not only that but u told me the center section was allready shipped out.. well I dont have any cash OR the center section..

come clean tell me the 100% truth on when I will get my money back and if/when I will get the center section"



Plain and simple he never mentioned the center section, he is not gaurnteeing me any money just saying he will have it on the 26th.. now I want my money back in full AND the money for the center section!!!!

Gah, another random "friend". People are too dumb to ship something out properly, and then too much of a coward to take responsibility for it once something breaks. Ban him.

 

btw after reading this again and being pissed I replied to his last pm with the following

"BTW Since you were unable to pay me by the end of last week like u said u would originally and now I have to wait ANOTHER week.. I am now requesting all my money back.

Thats 65.00 for the taillights and since I have not received the center section (obviously u never sent it out) I want that 10.00 back to. so thats a total of 75.00

I EXPECT 75.00 back in my paypal account by end of the day on SEPT 26th.

If not I will have paypal go after the account holder, they will get me ALL of my money back and this matter will be over with on my end.

I have been more then understanding and more then patient."




To be honest all I have to do is file a complaint with paypal and within a week the dispute will be over and I will have my money back... however I am trying to keep this civil and let the guy reedeme himself and fix the problem

 

So I receved this PM this morning

"Fine 75 then. I WILL PAY YOU ON THE 26TH. Until then I would appreciate if you left me alone. I am grateful for your patience but please just stop bashing me so hard. I told you I am sorry. I offered to refund you your money and I will. But now I am though of as trash on here because of a first time seller mistake and then tried to save my *** and it made it worse. If you only knew how bad my money situation is then maybe you could see way it is so hard just to even get you 40 dollars but im not even going to get into it because all you would see is another excuse."

As far as Paypal goes, it doesn't matter who opened the account. If that is the account where you sent the money, that is where you need to file a dispute. If the owner is letting someone else use the account, that is not your problem. I believe you only have 30 days to do so after payment.

 

I know I have had to take action through paypal before and I have contacted them and they are leaving the transaction active untill I get back to them. once I give the the answer weather to pursue or not they will do so..

i bought S5 rear and front bumpers along wit a few other things...havent recieved anything yet and its been like a month!!

 

Well today is the day that he is supose to pay me the 75.00 I will update the thread after I either get payment or by tomorrow morning if I have not received my payment back

btw this is what I wrote him this morning:

JJC sorry you have also had problems it looks like this guy is trouble!

 

I would file a claim with paypal. Right now he is doing what every scammer does saying he will pay you as soon as he gets the money. Giving sob stories about how he is dire straits. File the claim, and paypal will get your money back or he will actually be motivated to send you what he owes. Either way, you get your money.
My favorite part is his line, "The account is in my fiances name with her card. I am nowhere on that account so processing a investigtion through paypal means you are dragging her into this and then we will have a problem."

His goal here is to become aggeressive so you think twice about using paypal. He doesn't want his account closed, so he can continue to scam. He is in no position to tell you not to file a claim. He made his bed, now he should man up. Tell him if he doesn't pay, then we will road trip with my buddies wrecker and "repossess" his car for the damages you have incurred. I hate scammers.

 

I 2nd that. If you file a claim with Paypal, at least the next guy won't get jacked.
