Thumbs down tougeFB, AKA "thericerx7" --- a huge liar and scammer

wackyracer and I did the direct fire ignition on this green FB about three years ago, and he never paid the $40 to cover the parts at least.

He even changed his user name [just like the other fools out there] thinking he can get away with it.

I almost forgot about it after three years, but you slipped.

And like I said in your FS thread, it's not the $40 that concerned us, but you gave us your word of paying us back. You failed to meet that principal and you burned the bridges.

So to anyone looking, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS LIAR.

Thank you very much. For people like yourself do I strive to be a better person.

You know, it was just a matter of time before your actions catches up to you.

So wait. You and "wackyracer" did some work on a girl's car. The girl is "wackyracer", or one of the usernames posted in the title?

This happened 3 years ago?

You did the work on the basis of credit for both the parts, and the labor?

Yeah, true, shame on her/him/whoever for not paying you, but shame on you for letting yourself get taken advantage of.

NO wacky isn't the culprit/liar/not-payer-backer

Wacky is a great guy. He was saying that Wacky and him did work on the car owner by the person whose screen names are in the title.

I do agree though that three years later is hardly the time to bash the guy. I also agree that if you do work on credit it's unfortunately necessary to make sure you have some way of finding this person later and holding them to the agreement.

To tell you all the truth, we took his word for it. Since he was a member of the forum, we took his word for it and we figured that a lending hand goes a long way. We knew this kid was broke at the time, but if he can afford a 10AE with mods, then what's the problem paying the $40 that tougeFB promised?

It's really not the $40 that's bothering us, rather the principal of 'scamming' us. We put faith and credibility on this kid's word and he just brushed it off.

Don't get me wrong I do the same thing, and I'm not justifying what this kid did. I'm just saying its unfortunate but there are a lot of people who will rip you off if you leave the opportunity for them to take advantage of you open. I do work on credit for broke people all the time, I just make sure and get something in writing.

So, now I am more confused. In your first post you reference a girl. Now you reference "him" and "this kid".

I know tougeFB personally here locally and I don't think that he would do such a thing. It must have been a misunderstanding. However, I have only known him over the past year. So maybe...

But in my opinion he is a stand-up guy...

I was going to suggest if it was a girl, that you may seek "alternate methods" of compensation.
