I can't believe Paypal hasn't revoked his account yet.

Techno Toy Tuning should buy the business from him, or just the license to the designs and patents, and just start making these parts.

I wish, I soo want the R&P kit and BBK. I know the FC subframe is an option, but that's not the way I want to go. Respeed was the perfect solution, what a shame.

wow...just wish I would have read this

I put in an order for a big brake kit, full bushing kit and sway bar bushings like 2 weeks ago.

nothing, nada. sent email to website yesterday. nothing nada.

left VM today.........but after reading this I might just dispute it sooner rather than later.

anyone else make the big brake kit? if not I can have it made locally from some of the instructions I have seen on the web.

Well after leaving the rotary community for a short while late last year I bought my old car back and decided it was past due to buy a ton of parts for it.

I ordered the complete coilover setup for my FB. Many of my good friends on Ohio Rotaries linked me here. I immediately filed a dispute for fraudulent business. My dispute was filed immediately so on the date my parts were supposed to arrive I escalated it to a claim. Normally I wouldnt dispute anything before the date the parts were to arrive had come and gone. Thanks to this thread I decided I was justified in doing so on this occasion. Many phonecalls and emails were sent, many messages were sent through paypal. There was no response, and today I received my money back. Well over a week after my parts were supposed to have arrived.

He will not communicate with you, as has been already established. His website WILL still take your money. The phones ring off of the hook, voicemails are full. Dont take your business here, it is an unfortunate loss, and a huge blow especially to the first gen community.

I asked paypal to revoke his account, as part of my evidence I made them aware if they looked through their own records they would find many claims and disputes against him. This is the primary fact that won my money back. I was correct in that assumption, and thanks to this thread knew that I would be.

PLEASE in your disputes ask for revocation of his account. I wish there was something to be done about his website, but for now I think this is our best option.

I escalated mine to a claim immediately based on no returned calls, emails and from what I have seen here. I should know something next week from Paypal, and I will definitely be asking for them to revoke his account. That's just a dirty little person aside from the bad business....just wish I lived near there so I could "stop by" for a visit.

What do you think this "damn" thread is??

Look, I've posted announcements, as have other moderators. They get routinely ignored. I posted up that members should not deal in PMs or off-forum email, etc etc as much as possible. I posted that buyers should never send money to someone via western union or other wire transfer methods....as they are untraceable and very easy to use to defraud someone. People still do those things...we hear about it all the time.

So what good would it do to post another announcement that will just get ignored? We have even posted announcements before, warning against buying from certain scammers....people still send them the money anyways and then wonder why they got scammed.....at least this thread creates a searchable notice where not just one person is complaining about the seller, but a ton of people.

Yeah, how many times does he have to get a claim filed against him before Paypal pulls the plug? It's really a shame things turned out like this

If they cannot draw funds from it, that means that when someone orders parts from them, the payment stays in the paypal account. This means that when the parts dont get shipped, and the buyer files a complaint with paypal, that the money is still sitting there, so that Paypal can refund the buyer without issue. A lot of times, the scammer has already taken the money out, so that even if paypal rules in your favor, they cannot refund you the money. This way, they can.

Just got my refund. Big ups for Paypal. They made this process very straight forward.

Atkins seems to sell only the OEM pedestal.

Ordered some parts from him July of 2012 & all went well. Ordered some parts early July this year & shouldn't have. No response to phone calls, voice mails or emails. Lesson's learned. Next time I'll check the vendors out on the forum first.

Filed my PayPal claim & should have the outcome by the 24th.

Wondered if there would be a thread here but two!!!

I am a resident from Western Australia and made an order for over $800 worth of stuff back in very late March. Delivery was around 3 months plus whatever time it took to make things however I believe I have been patient enough. I've tried to contact them at least 4 times, once a week the past month and have not heard NOTHING. Funny how e-mails at time of ordering was quick.

Just sent another e-mail, posted here and also on Facebook. If I do not hear back, I will be lodging a claim through Paypal.

Not impressed and would appreciate if anyone could help.

Edit: after reading this thread I am claiming though Paypal.
