methanol tanks
2 things
1. has anyone mounted their meth tanks in the boxes on a FC? If i take it to a drag strip with them in there will it pass tech inspection?
2. if you want to buy those plastic meth/water tanks all the ai sites sell them for 30$ buy it from http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/pro...uct%5Fid=14120
its much cheaper... like $10/per.

I think if you run 100% meth in the passenger compartment you may have trouble.
Wow! They have a 2.5 gal tank for $20.84
Thanks,
Barry

if you are going to run 100% methanol you need a fuel cell not a plastic jug w a screw-on top. that is fine for water injection and a 50-50 mix which won't burn... not alcohol.
consider it exactly the same as gasoline.
here's what i run along w all stainless steel braided lines and brass fittings..

$145 for a 4 gallon cell. more expensive yes, but...
please see my thread regarding compnent location for further help.

good luck and i know you will get hooked on the alcohol. i did.

they have a wide selections of sizes and shape and ~$20ea
note: get the tallest and narrowest bottle possible - minimise gas bubbles created from sloshing going onto the pump intake and also lessens the triggering of failsafe float switch from liquid movement.

Does anyone make a round donut type tank that would fit in the spare tire well? I found a cell for a full size spare but it is to large. (#171115, 8 gal well tank ATL 22”dia x 6” ).

I'm still on the fence in terms of cell-size totality, but 1gal seems to be good so far. But, then again, I haven't cranked my new 2xM10 nozzle setup yet. That was with the use of the single M15 at low-mid 400rwhp.
