Is this an addition to an existing aquamist kit or is this the complete kit ?

I believe this just the additional part for a kit

I have a summer that I haven't used, still in the box. Bought it just in case because there were only a couple left, but I may not need it for quite a while. I'm in Canada fwiw

Anyone want to make an offer? I'd consider trades too

I'll be away for a couple weeks, but if I can't check the board/PMs while I'm gone, I'll still see it when I get back

This is an addition to a kit. It basically calculates how much water or methanol to inject by averaging the sum of primary and secondory injectors.

In this link there is a description of how it works exactly

So does this mean aquamist + summer is better then other systems. Are their other systems that will address the problem the same way or better then the summer? I am currently in the market for a water/meth kit. I was concidering the AEM unit, does anyone have any feedback possibly from someone who has owned or installed both .

As far as I know the Aquamist Summer is the only one of its kind on the market. It works out how much water to inject relativly to fuel being injected by both your primaries & secondaries. II don't know of any other system like it on the market.

Hope this helps but if you need more info i suggest getting in touch with Richard of Aquamist.

Well I am already on the group buy list, it's just that I'm looking to wrap things up on a currently well overdue project. This is the only thing between me and my car getting tuned so with out a date on when the summer will be acailaanle I'm looking for alternatives

I can understand that. I'm in the same situation as you are but what I will do is have Aquamist ship the HFS-6 first on its own then when the summer is ready have that shipped at group buy price

Well the summer is what attracted me to Aquamist the most but even the systems they sell are the best if you ask me. Pity you can't wait a bit or install just the system then add the summer later on. In any case if you need to get off the list just leave a message on the group buy thread please.

How would this compare to other systems on the market in terms of price and built in fail safe? Can you use the HFS-3 without the summer piece on the 7? Just have it to trigger to come on when the secondaries come on or would a different kit be easier because it can just use manifold ( boost ) pressure?
