Question about OEM Showa Bathurst Coilovers
Hey guys
I have a 4 page article on the OEM Showa Bathurst Coilovers (in one of the RX7 Japanese magazines - 2002, No. 014), and it shows that they're height adjustable (up by 5mm and down by 20mm). Does anyone know if they're damper adjustable as well?
Thanks in advance!

No they don't have any damper adjustment. Only height adjustment, which I still haven't been able to adjust because its so damned hard to move the top platform that the spring is resting on.

As a matter of interest, they are quite reasonable to re-condition, and turnaround is only a few days..

The SP's did have Bilsteins.
Just the usual confusion between the SP Rx7 made by Mazda Australia that raced at Bathurst in the 12hr and the Bathurst model produced by Mazda in Japan

More well known for their motorcycle suspension, might be a division of Honda, as it seems just about every one of their works bikes has been fitted with it for 2 decades or more.
