Post 1997 Vacuum Diagram

Howdy,

I guess the Australian forum would be the best bet. ANyone here have the post 1997 vacuum diagram? This is the black box module that replaces earlier rats nest. I managed to do the silicon hose job over the weekend using a japanese parts diagram (not good i know) so if anyone can help i'd really appreciated it.

Also anyone wants a copy of newer vacuum diagram can let me know.

Sorry i dont have one atm but a question??

Is it the S8 (99 onwards) that got this update "box" rather than the rats nest or is it like you said 97 models (Late model S7 i assume) got the far neater and reliable box as well.

Thanks James.

HEY !!!

My first post here !!!

My car is a jap spec series 7 with the black box too....Ive got it out at the moment as it has a crook solenoid (the one with the white plug ) controls the charge relief valve for the secondary turbo.
Now ive just got to get it apart.....

Regards Daz

Jap spec series-7 (96-98) got the plastic control box & Oz spec series-7 got the "rats nest".

I have the series-8 (99-02) electrical & mechanical update books & niether details the plastic control box. I think it may be because its a series-7 thing & was documented back in 96. My books are from 99 so Mazda would assume I have the details already.

I think I'll chase done some Jap-spec series-7 books now......

Guys, the reason many Aussies think the plastic control box is a series-8 thing is because bugger all Jap-spec series-7's have made it down under & there are now plenty of series-8's cruising the streets. Either way, its a dramatic improvement over the rats nest on the series-6 (92-95) but the charge control soleniod in there is prone to failure a lot.

DRMH,

If you could be so kind to perhaps post up the vacuum diagram. I've been searching everywhere with no luck. Appreciate the dibs on possible faulty CCS. will check. Thanks in advance.
